Great amp!

This amp is fantastic! it puts out true rms, very clear on stereo and bridged for sub woofers. i would recommend this to anyone who needs a high power speakers or some subs. it was a bit tricky to set up the channels if you're new to car audio though, but over all, i would buy again. (and i did buy again) i pulled a stupid and wired it to 2 ohm bridged, but somehow it survived it... i love you mb quart.

Love This Amp!

Installer, competitor, and general bass head and I love this amp. The sound quality is great even with cheaper speakers. Match this up with a great component set, some sound deadener on your doors and you have yourself an impressive set up.

I've owned a few now, end up selling them and starting fresh, love them all.

There are lots of settings with the HPF/LPF and gains, very great to tune.

Upgrades in my FoST

I am using these speakers with my stock MFT sony head unit and they sound great. The awesome thing about these is the Bi-Amp design so if you have separate channels for most of your speakers, Like the Focus ST does... you can get the clean sound you have been looking for with a good little thump too. Drums come through great on the woofers and the tweeters are balanced well. The grills for these speakers look well designed and are attractive.

Great Amplifier !

This is a great amplifier. Got it brand new to install my Chevy Cruze along with a pair of Polk Audio component speaker set and a NAR 10" subwoofer. Perfect match !! Power rating are true, strongly recommend to anyone looking for sound quality with enough power.

What A beast of on amp and it sounds so clean and can be tuned to all speakers

Use half the amp for a super nice JL and full car door speakers and it sounds super great! Im Impressed!

i have channels 1 and 2 powering 2 sets of Alpine SPR-60Cs and channels 3 and 4 powering one set!! i have this amp tuned with the DD-1 and CC-1 they play from 71hz and up subs play 71hz and down!! so far i love the amp every thing sounds awesome and clean!

Great value, good output and sound quality. Gets a bit warm when played at full power but can be fixed with a fan or two. Wire terminals are angled down so are a bit awkward to input your wires. All in all, great amp for the price

Great performance

What a great amp

I have this for my door speakers in my mazda 6. I have Infinity Kappa 60.11cs in the front doors and Sundown 6.5CS in the rears and this amp pushes them prefect. It is a big upgrade from my Renegade(rockford) Ren1100 watt 4ch amp. I would say that the amp pushed what it says it does and sounds great. Only wish it had true 4awg wire lugs as it wont hold true 4awg wire. also dont really like that the wires come in at an angle and not straight in. other then that the amp is great. I also have the MB Quart 1600.1 pushing my 13w7 JL sub

Good review

A good little amp for mids and small subs. I have it powering two mb quart 8 inch subs and it gives them the 200 watts rms they need at 2ohms.

Great bang for buck

I have it powering a pair of c5-5X7 JL audio components and c2-5X7 coaxials and it does the job. Plenty of power for the two pairs of speakers and so affordable. Don't waste your money on a more expensive name brand. Buy this and get 100 watts RMS to all four channels.

Moderately Impressed

This amplifier works as expected, utilized in a convertible driving component fronts and bridged 3/4 for a small sub. Not overly powerful, not overly flashy, but does the job at a budget based price.

A word of caution, the first amp received was faulty - which Sonic Electronix made good on are replaced it immediately. The second amp arrived with a broken/missing switch that I have to use a pick to slide into place for the correct setting. Isn't worth the hassle to fuss about, the all works fine.

Good choice for the money

I just install this amp with a factory system, it add the bass needed to the system. Be sure to use appropiated wire with it.
the 4 gauge power connections were a little small, but with some effort they fitted in the connections.

Really exceptional value for money

I bought this amp based on many great reviews and despite first one arriving with a loose screw rattling around inside, sonic electronics quickly sent a replacement that had been very good since. Haven't had my system more than a month but sounds outstanding and the amp handles all I toss st it. I recommend it with a JL Audio subwoofer. Only $100 for 800 watts? Yes please!

descent components

These are a descent upgrade from stock on a premium audio on a 2015 Accord, compared to the stock speakers they are better controlled and sound is cleaner, I had the stocks with a DSP and an amp running active, replaced them with the sony in the same setup, the sony are a little louder and have more control at high volumes, but compared to the Focal and Diamond Audio HEX they lack, they are not as detailed or as loud, I have the stock head unit going thru a Rockford Fosgate 3sixty3 DSP Processor feeding to a 5 channel NVX amp and running active.

Got the job done

Bought this for my 800 watt amp. It seems to be decent quality, I haven't noticed any odd noises since its installation. Use was pretty straightforward and came with everything I needed. I would buy it again in the future.

MB Quart

Guys i know there a tons and tons of options and i seriously do not know if any other amp being less or more expensive would sound good but i do know that i love the sound of my system with this amp pushing 2 4x6 Fosgates and 2ea jl audio 4.5 coax. I love my music loud and distortion free and this amp seems perfect for me.

Much better than expected!

I bought this amplifier because a 700w Kicker amp decided to start shorting out. I did not want to spend a ton of money, so I was looking at anything under $250. When I saw the reviews on this amp I couldn't resist doing more research. I looked at reviews on other sites like Amazon, and across the board this amp was getting attention. I had previously purchased a set of MB Quart 6.5 speakers for a car I used to have and was amazed with the quality of sound they put out for such an affordable price. This amp is the exact same quality. I love sound, and I have run so many different brands of equipment in my vehicles and home, but I didn't want to go crazy on a loud work truck. This is a better amp than my $400 Kicker ZX700.5. The highs are piercing and the lows bump harder than my 6.5 mid-range woofers can handle at 50hz. My Clif Designs sound incredibly better on this cheap amp than my previous Kicker. My only two beefs so far is that the kit was missing the Allen wrench for the remote wire input, so I had to run to Lowes and buy an entire set, and also the adjustment knobs only label 10hz and 1.2khz so it is difficult to figure out where to position the frequency dial for differentiating speaker hz between front and back. Thus far I am very impressed by this amp, it is all I need and more. Hopefully I don't have to come back and update this review because this amp rocks!

Clear, crisp and a full sound of highs, middles and lows completely throughout your listening range and beyond with concert hall accuracy and quality. Sony has always meant quality you can trust to hard core music listeners and this speaker continues that heritage. I put them in my Tacoma doors in place of factory speakers, added an amp and sub-woofer and it's a road traveler's dream! Excellent (Update)

I have had these GS1621c and GS6921 for about 4 months now and I feel you shouldn't have any complaints after buying them. I first heard them at a local retailer and I noticed they sounded just as clear and powerful as the Focal speakers they also had so I purchased them that same day and installed them on my Pioneer AVH-X2800BS and they sounded good on the mids and highs (not lows) after tweaking the eq and crossover. This past 2 weeks I added an external amplifier, which is an old school Rockford Power 551x and it made a much greater impact on the sound! Now the sound is even more detailed and even filling up the lows vibrating my mirrors with no distortion, I personally dont even feel the need to add a subwoofer anymore. I highly recommend these speakers, especially if you will be adding an external amp to them to give them the true power that they need. Do NOT rob them of power!!!

Quality

I have these speakers running off my Pioneer AVH2800BS head unit,... nice upgrade from the factory speakers of my 2013 Impala,... they sound great after tuning from my head unit much clarity. I know they aren't getting enough power right now but I can only image how spectacular the improvement of sound will be when I add an external amplifier
