Great Earbuds

I have never seen these before, I hadn't seen them on Sony's site, but they are great! I had the Sony MDR-AS40EX for about a year. They were Perfect! I really have no complaints about that one. But I guess they don't make it anymore, and the people trying to sell the few that are left are really killing the price. I got mine for $35 and now they are trying to sell for $45-$60. too much. they were great and all, but again the reason I HAD to buy another pair is they broke. Granted, it was my fault when they phone fell off the bench at the gym it separated in the left ear and wouldn't work anymore. I don't want to spend $60 on something I might very well do the same thing to. At any rate, these must be the new model, they sure do look like the old ones. But I think the mids and bass is a little bit clearer on these. There just seems to be more of a presence on the bottom end with these AS41EX's. They feel a little bit stronger at the ear tip too where my old ones broke. Either that, or the old ones were like this and just wore in over the year or so I used them. I also do like the all black look more than the silver and black on the AS40EX. They fit really nice, comfortable, great for the gym or if your going for a little jog. Definitely recommend these!

Good, but not great.

These are decent earbuds, but nothing that is going to blow you away. The cord comes in two sections, the short main piece and a long extension which I like since I put my mp3 player and phone in my shorts pocket when I am working out. Has different buds for sizing as well as arms for around your ears, though I found the one already attached to be the best. The case is cool, but who uses them? Overall the sound is decent, I used them on an international flight to watch movies and they had good overall sound, but using them for music which I play loud, they were just like most any other earbuds on the market.
