Still Sony, Still Superp

These are a perfect example of Sony Greatness. Not everything from Sony is overpriced, and for the dollar, they will rival anything. A classic example of years in the industry, and proven engineers. If anyone has not heard these headphones, I would strongly encourage you to read up on them. They are the best, most neutral headphones you can find for under $100. These are not over bass saturated like 95% of the market. They are not flashy, and they are not a fashion statement. They are great headphones. This is why I love them. I am a classic sound kinda guy, and these deliver 100%

Classic Sony

I love these headphones. I had the previous generation for almost 12 years. They were lightweight, comfy, and the sound quality was great. They didnt over exaggerate certain parts of the music like many do today. They sounded natural, and neutral. They didn't need to change a thing.

Cant get any better for the money

If you have only owned cheap headphones in the past, then do yourself a favor and get these cans.

Sound:
The amount of detail is incredible.
They may come out as harsh in the top end, but given time for your ears to adjust and the speakers to burn in, you will understand that these are made for detail.
As the name suggests, these are monitors made for the recording studios. But at the end of the day, they tell it how it is, and if the music mastering did their job then the music will sound great through these cans. I guess if there was any weakness there is a drop off in the ultra low sub end of the spectrum.

Quality:
Good for the price. nice quality metals and plastic are used. The pads are synthetic and probably wont last years, but the cans are weighty and look more expensive than they are.
The fold up design is great, though it can be a pain at the same time, as even picking them up the will cause them to twist and fold up on their own.
The cord is excellent. and no complaints with durability.

Comfort:
Everyone is different, but i find these fit over my ears and i can wear them for hours. I do get excess pressure against my ears at times and they can become hot. In saying that, i can at times forget they are even on my head.
