Nice sound

I bought these for my ipad to listen to music on different internet sites. The sound for the money is incredible. The base does stand out. So happy with transaction bought a pair for my wife.

Decent headphones

Sound isnt as crisp as more pricy headphones but these have good comfort, inexpensive and its hard to beat them for the price.

Great for the price

Getting these for less than $28 is a steal!
For the price range, these are premium headphones. They have great mid-range and highs! They do great in bass for this price range, but don't expect to be able to tune in more bass to get more bump out of them. They only handle so much before they distort, alas, they aren't overly big drivers or priced for the brand.

The headset is comfortable and well adjustable for a bigger sized head. The pads are nice enough to wear for extended periods of time and the cord does actually keep un-tangled better due to the flat cable. Overall, these are great and I would recommend them to those who want premium quality without spending more than necessary.

I do like my bass, but if I want that much bump, i'll drive my car, as direct into the ears at 20 Hz is not well for the hearing. I enjoy the clarity and all around quality from them. Premium sound that is balanced across all the ranges.

4 on durability due to shorter time of owning, but has held up well to lots of hardcore use.
4 on Look/Design as they could've made them a bit more compact, lots of space in the shell of the drivers.
And of course Sonic Rocks!

great headphones for the money

Comfortable headset. Only downside about them is the ultra thin leather skin on the headphones themselves. It peels off with light use.

Didn't last very long

I bought this for my 16 year old grandson, it worked fine for the first month then it just stopped working, not sure if I would recommend this product again, I have to return it.

I love it

My first impression was that it felt cheap and I was afraid they would break. After having it for a few months now, I grew to love them. The bass is outstanding. I even use these for mixing on my turn tables. Overall, they're a great buy and they last.

Bass!

These headphone are perfect for BASS! i recommend this to someone who like hip-hop ,rap,or dub-step music.

Wonderful sound. Great bass sound and super comfortable. I connect my TV to play call of duty and I can hear everything perfectly.

Bass headphones

I love these headphones. Love the look, and the feel of them. They are SO much better than beats. I love listening to my music with extra bass, and they handle them amazingly. I'm 17 and I would recommend then to any teenager that like to listen to music.

Nice

The Sony MDR-XB400/BLU XB Extra Bass Headphones are pretty darn good. The extra bass is nice and the sound quality is great. The price fit my budget as well. They also block out outside noise fairly well. Really, there is only one drawback to them and that is that the way they are made, they creak and pop. Annoying as it is though, they are nice headphones.

Awesome Entry Level Extra Bass Headphone

Hello EXTRA BASS lovers,

If you like superb deep bass, rich sound with great highs and mids in a lightweight, very inexpensive headphone, you won't be disappointed. I went on Google and search out several types of headphone with a budget of around 40$ - 60$ and came out with a lot of possibilities and by my great surprise i have found this Sony MDR XB 400 cheaper that what i intended to pay for. As I like a little more bass, i chose this headphone instead of Sennheiser as these are exactly what its all about as its meant to reproduce deep powerful bass like in pro headphones i guess. I own mine since a month now and what i can say is that it delivers low frequency response so well that am loving Sony products and even highs and mids are just mind blowing and I use them not only for music but for listening to all other stuffs like TV at all times. I hear all voices and the clarity is superb. TV watching is much more enjoyable now. Even YouTube videos are more fun. I also use them for listening to music on my iPod and on my HTC One Mini powered by BeatsAudio which is something you will be amazed, it sounds beautiful and way better that without BeatsAudio. For those who own anything that include BeatsAudio, this will be a plus as those crazy output and clarity you will get through those 30mm driver that delivers exactly what you want to hear and that sound experience will change the way you listen to music or watching a movie. If you guys have any equipment that have BeatsAudio, please do not hesitate to BUY this headphone along with POWERAMP, those EQ in poweramp makes a HUGE difference in listening to music in better way of course compare to all other music players :) Delivery was very fast even if am oversea. Very satisfied costumer !

Awesome Headphones

I bought these headphones for the 'extra bass' and they really deliver. The bass is balanced and not over powering over the music, but is still has that extra umph. The ear padding creates really great noise cancellation and I can hear nothing outside my headphones.

Most comfortable ear pads and great sound

These headphones have the softest ear pads ever. I can wear them for hours! They sound great, and are really light. They are the whole deal!

Decent

These are a decent set of budget headphones, they aren't fully noise cancelling as they don't wrap around your ear, but they do a great job for what they are.
They are nice, as they aren't as big or bulky and put out great sound, again not high end, but not your standard.
