i am 100% pleased with this sony product and would buy it again. cant think of anything bad to say about them. they have a beautiful high quality sound with enhanced bass..i like, sounds expensive but it is not.

Nowhere near as nice as Bose

They are OK but lacking on clarity and the higher range frequencies. The bass boost is a LOT, maybe even too much to the point of becoming overpowering. Both myself and my husband compared my Bose that I paid $150 for side-by-side with these and the Bose were a hundred times better. I guess you do get what you pay for... save your money.

Super Excellent Product!

I was a bit skeptical about ordering $30 headphones. However, I took a chance because they were Sony.

I am sooooo glad that I decided to make the purchase. I have only praise for the product. Excellent quality for the price. No complaints!

I recommend these to anyone who likes music & wants to hear the bass.

Can't ask for more

This headphone looks and feels cheap, but believe me it's a pretty good deal for the price. I compare it to my Pioneer HDJ-500 headphone and quite frankly I prefer the sound of the Sony MDR-XB400. I like bass and this headphone gives you just that.

Sony MDR-XB400/GRN second to none

These are the best headphones I have ever owned, the noise canceling function is great, as well as the no tangle cable and strong overall build quality, for on-ear headphones the value is great.

SERIOUS Bass!

WOW! i was a little skeptical about this "XB Extra Bass" series when i saw the difference in the driver size. 30 mm in not really that small, but its certainly not a 40 mm or 50 mm either. But the green is really cool. I thought i would give them a chance and i have never regretted that choice. The Bass is so deep i couldn't believe it. I can actually feel the pressure when it hits like the kind of pressure you hear in the car when it really kicks. It is actually stunning. The cushions are the softest ear cushions i have ever experienced. These are easily worth twice the price no problem. But at half that, i will not complain either :)
