Its more than just a gaming console
I have three of these, one in every room. I also have a wii and 2 xboxes. They all serve there purpose, "Gaming". However the ps3 does much more than just gaming and its the only system that is blueray compatible and allows you to browse the internet. Wifi is built into it so you don't have to buy additional equipment. This system is more like a little computer. Gaming,web browsing, email, chat, DVD, blueray, and a lot more. Its worth the money and will be the only system you need.

If your into gaming,this is the system for you. Online is free, huge variety of games, 120gb of space is more than enough for the casual or hardcore gamer, if it eventually DOES get full, it takes a standard 2.5" HDD(laptop drive) which are quite cheap. The controller has a built in rechargeable battery that charges on one of the two usb ports on the ps3,the usb ports are 2.0 so they're just as fast as your computer. The PS3 plays almost any video file you throw at it,has a video editor and photo editor(both free) and an all round easy to use interface,if you or your kids like gaming,this is for you! I've owned mine for 2 years and haven't had a problem!!

Sony PlayStation 3 120GB or 250GB. I got the 250GB for more space, Your not going to need the space right away. You will in the future after playing a lot of games.
