Sounds great!
Initially Android Auto kept dropping out. It turned out that my USB cable was the problem. After swapping that out the unit hasn't frozen or crashed once. Sounds much better than my OEM head unit, without upgrading the speakers. Screen is responsive and the EQ preset options are excellent. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

XAV-AX5000
This head unit is a huge upgrade from the Sony XAV-AX1000. The screen is like a phone screen and there is really no glare whatsoever. My speakers sound so much better as well! Also a huge shoutout to sonic electronix for the fast delivery! I’m kind of sad that it went on sale the day after I bought it but it’s all good.
