This unit is fantastic! The capacitive touch screen makes this feel luxurious. I installed this unit in my 2006 Silverado and it looks great and is miles ahead of the competition. Never liked the look of the UI on other brands, Sony keeps it sleek and simple.

I bought this because it was a great price and would like to see what's behind my car when I back up.

Quick and easy

Great product, very simple installation procedure. The enclosed instructions are a little vague, but it is a straight forward process. Various mounting options are included, and even a hole saw is included. The only issue I had was the video cable wasn't very high quality, I ended up having to replace it after the tinning came off and the cable wouldn't output video.

Clear Video, Easy installation, Seamless Integration, Cheap Hardware

Video quality is very good on this camera and the extra mounts make it easy to fit a wide range of vehicles. I installed mine as a rearview camera to supplement my aftermarket head unit. All the wiring I needed was included. I stripped the head on both mounting screws even after drilling pilot holes. be careful of that. Overall I am very pleased with this camera, I see it be a high-quality product.

Best radio with idatalink capabilites

I wanted a radio that did not belong in fast and furious with just enough features to do the job. This one delivers more than I expected and made the stock speakers sound MUCH better than the stock head unit. I was considering upgrading the stock speakers until I heard them on this unit, happy with the levels of punch gained from just this upgrade.

Great for the price

I like how modular this camera is, was fairly simple to put together in the combination I wanted. I like that the camera lens can be pointed since where mine is mounted sloped slightly. Image appears pretty clear. I just hope this one lasts longer than the crux cub01 camera that lasted less than 24 hours.

This is a nice well constructed android head unit

I went with the Sony because it seemed to be a head unit I could use for at least 5 years. Time will tell but this far it shines. The captive screen helps make the 7" display seem larger. Android auto connects before I get in the car, even though I find rare occasional drops which it quickly recovers from. The head units 14 band equiIizer pulls highs and lows that blend without any distortion. I used it with 4 infinity reference series speakers so I have room for a 45 x4 rms final with an amp . Use android Gemini and everything is hands free. I am an android person but I'm sure the same results are there with apple carplay. I highly recommend this head unit!
