This product was easy to install, directions were clear and easy to follow. The sound is great, and it looks like original equipment.

Best radio for the price!

I had this radio put in my 99 accord. I LOVE IT! The platform is really easy to understand, and the picture is crystal clear. It also has an expensive look to it, unlike some of the cheaper brand radios. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a premium radio without hurting their wallet!

i bought this head unit amonth ago and got it installed professionally. it fits perfectly works great and also looks great. sounds perfect with my subs and stock speakers. i highly recommend it.

I bought this for my wife to install in her expodition. I paid $200 for the unit including install kit from sonic.. It came quick, installed easy and sounds great. What more can I say.. This is a solid unit works flawlessly and adds a high tech modern touch to her ride.. She loves it..I'm her hero..she's happy.. Everyone's happy.. : ) ..buy it.

Good Value

Didn't quite fit in my 2005 Ford Escape, but after cutting about .25 inch out from inside the dash it slid right in. Had to glue it into place because the brackets wouldn't fit without me causing cosmetic damage to my vehicle. Aside from that, the unit brought a lot out my speakers, and looks really nice. My cons are that the interface is isn't as snappy as I hoped, and when I plug my iPod in via USB I cannot change the song from my iPod I must change it from the stereo's slow reacting interface. All that said it is good for the price, and it's not bad looking either.

Mixed feelings , up to buyer to purchase

Installed in 2007 Hyundai Entourage with 13 speaker 660 wt system , makes the Infinity speakers sound better .

Ordered this last week and had it installed professionally today . Out of the box it will not play any dvd i own . These are retail , not burned . Not a huge deal breaker but disappointing since it was new . Anyway ...

Pro's : Sounds excellent ..Using with a pkg deal from Sonic ,2 kicker 12 dual 4 ohm s with box , wiring kit for amp and 850wt Precision Power amp , steering wheel controls , dash and wiring kit . Bass is heart stopping for my mini van .
Plays all my mp3 disks and usb drive mp3's .
Plays my divx files to a certain extent .
All phone music apps play fine .

Cons : takes a full minute to read usb stick at first and even longer for cds .
Will not play dvds .
Screen sometimes slow to respond or not at all or clicks on wrong file .
Freezes when a video file it doesnt like is clicked . even when its the same format as ones that do play .
Frequently beeps and says usb content not found or not compatible . you have to switch sources then back to usb to continue playing .


A few things related but not against Sony : mounting kit angles player inward at bottom making it difficult to insert usb . Had to remove cover plate for usb completely to use other brands of usb .
Wiring kit had to have extra wire for something to do with amp and factory stereo amp .
also Important : if you have stock dvd player like my over head this unit doesnt have a jack in back to use for audio , you have to use the one in front or wireless headsets . for now my kids can use subtitles lol .

im sure im just unlucky with the dvd player not working but i have 2 choice's , send unit back and wait for replacement , costing me time and money to uninstall OR buy new unit and wait till it arrives , then replace at my own cost and then return/wait for refund .Both require 2 install/un installs ... Both unappealing ..i will just put up with this for now .

This is my first time using an aftermarket head unit with my sound system. I usually just use a converter for RCA output. I haven't had much to compare to besides the converter set up and other peoples cars but overall Im satisfied. Huge difference in sound quality from converter set up (which was expected) and stands up to other head units I've come across. Plus the price was unbeatable!

Exactly what i wanted

I bought this for a 05 impala Base. It went in pretty easy. All i really wanted was a touch screen that i could play my ipod through and this is this perfect fit. Its easy to navigate and sounds better then my stock head unit for sure. the only CON that i found so far is that there is 4 lame backgrounds and i dont think you can add some. But thats not really a big deal. Great product for the price for sure.

Great radio for a great price

I bought this radio for my mazda3. Fits perfectly and looks great. The harness was all black and matched the dashboard. Nice secure it. Installation was easy. The radio really brought out my stock speakers in comparison to the stock radio, I like the 8 preset radio channels. In an open menu screen it says what song is playing each preset so you can see what is playing instead of going to the station and hearing it. A lot of settings you can change. There is no treble, bass options instead it is a lot more advanced with Hz to tune your speakers with highs and lows. There are 6 preset tunings which I cycle between a few for different types of music I listen to. Rock, vocal, bass etc. Overall great product. No problems or anything I don't like that I have seen so far.

Excellent bang for your buck!

This head unit was fairly easy to install (some slight, and very simple, modification of plastic housing was needed). Sounds great and came with all the correct connections and wiring requirements! Highly recommended!

Love, love, love!!

I really love this Sony unit now that it installed. Purchased a backup camper off Amazon from $20 and after my buddy helped my run the wiring it worked like a charm. The sound and features this unit offers are incredible and it is so easy use. Fairly intuitive. I would highly recommend this unit.
