sweet amp

just got this amp..hooked up one 12 and it slams in my s10. i was pushing the 12 with a 600w sony, but this amp rocks!!

great amp

I have a 94 cherokee sport and i had this amp pushing 8 kicker comp 12s single 4 ohm subs, wired four down the line to 4 ohm load then the other four the same way and ran both sets into a 2 ohm mono load this amp pushed 8 kicker comp 12s like it was nothing. It got a little warm but so does every amp, I am very impressed, I can be heard from nearly a quarter mile a way. Great amp for the price.

WHOA!

After all the good reviews on this site and others I had to purchase this amp. 900 watts @ 2ohms for 149.99 ?? How can you possibly get a better deal than that? Performance? OUTSTANDING, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was shocked at how much it pounded out my 15" PA FUBAR. The blue LED adds a nice touch. Better scoop up one of these before they run out of stock cause according to another site "this item has been discontinued".

i had my alpine type r's and needed somethin to push them. i purchased this amp and i was very pleased. cheap price, great product. got it hooked up to two r's in a vented box that i also got from sonic and let me tell you it definetly rips.

Excellent !

For the price this amp cant be beat, I just bought this with a set of dual Kicker 12" subs and it really makes them pound hard without even breaking a sweat, and it stays cool.

Good amp

i hooked up to 2 mtx 12" and it POUNDS. i was a little worried it wouldn't put out but it exceeded my expectations. Never heats up and and never misses a beat. good amp for a good price.

Don't be fooled

This amp is a beast. Picked one up at a flea market for $50 when my Alpine MRP M1000 died and I was VERY impressed. Pushes my 2 Kicker Solo Classic 12 almost better than the Alpine. Runs warm when the Alpine heats up and goes into protect. had it benched find 972 rms at 13.8 v and a little over 1000 rms at 14.4. Sony haters are like pay 2 & 3 times the price to off their Orions, Kickers, Alpines, Sundowns but this Sony will do the job. Alpine is repaired but I'm using it as a paper weight :-))).

Now you might be thinking that sony in car audio is completely worthless. Thats what i thought until i hooked this baby up. This pumps out the bass and never gets hot. This is by far one of the best products for the price. You get a class D, Mosfet amp, that looks as good as it preforms, for a great price.

Powerful Amp. Sony has a great reputation for their receivers, but now they should have even a better reputation after this Amp gets more notice. runs 550rms at 4ohms! plus the LED is very cool, no need to dress up the trunk

Incredible

I recently picked up two Kicker 12" CVR's in a ported box. The final load is 4 ohm and the amp puts out 550w which is just under a perfect match (05 models were 600w RMS). This amp simply pounds the hell out of these. It never heats up at all, never cuts out, just pure raw bass. Totally worth the money. I have it hooked to a 1.0 farad cap, and through a fused distribution block which has an amp gauge to show the power being drawn. I was told since it was Sony that it would never put out the numbers it says it would, and that it would never draw the full "90 amps" that the fuses allow. Wrong. Ive seen on many occasions the gauge go up into the high 60's, low 70's. And thats not even using it to its fullest 2 ohm capability. Not only that, its CEA-2006 compliant so you can be sure the numbers aren't hyped. Great amp, highly recommended. Finally Sony is starting to make a decent product!

Just Nostalgia Shopping

I had this hooked up to two 15 inch L7's... it says 2 ohms minimum but i had it wired down to 1 ohm. this amp absolutely slammed in my sunfire. this was back in like 2003-2006. we had taken a 300 amp alternator out of some work truck in a junkyard and its battery and stuck it in the sunfire so it had good electrical. I sold my sunfire with the stereo for 1600 dollars. it makes me sick to think about. I want it back. I want my old stereo back so badd. T.T
