Powerful
Looks to be a powerful amp. If you have a powerful sub that can be hooked up through 2 ohms, this looks to be the perfect amp. you can run 1100 rms watts through 1 channel through 2 ohms.

When I got it I thought it was just going to be enough to keep a little bit of deep face on my route for Fosgate 12 but this thing drives it like a Cadillac and has no breaks. Clear, smooth rhythms through my subwoofer subsonic reverb that tickle car behind me. The standards of the Sony Indy automobile audio industry have two thumbs up from my hands. You can't beat the price and the quality of build that it brings out in the sounds. Jack

Sony mono class D , XM SD51X amplifier is a beast...
I would recommend this amp cuz it's the year 2021 and this thing is still kicking. I didn't buy it new about it used but it takes my thousand Watts RMS Rockford fosgate 10 in and pushes those easy.. Sony makes the best head units and as far as I'm concerned this amplifier kicks ass.
