Good speakers for the money
I have a 2008 Tacoma with the JBL system and replaced the stock speakers in place. Considering the JBL filters that reduce the bass, these actually sounded quite good and balance out the sound with the addition of a subwoofer and tweeter replacement. They fit in the stock front door brackets as well so no special adapters were needed. There was a slight interference with the filter bracket on the stock mount but nothing that was a real issue or concern. I'm sure they would be even better with a better output amp. I recommend these speakers and for the price they were great.

Great Value
These are a very good buy. I bought them for my 2001 Malibu with stock stereo and replaced the rear stock 6x9's. These are much more clear and offer much cleaner bass and they hit a lot harder than the stock speakers. Installation was a cinch, but the speaker grills that came with them didn't fit with my particular application but the stock ones do fine. These are a great overall speaker and you cant beat the price.

They are top notch speakers. I have had them in my car for almost a year now playing pretty loudly, and they haven't blown. They sound great, are really clear and look awesome. Great Value.
