not very powerful

I have one 10" digital design sub amp has great sound dosnt over heat but shuts down under load and was not enough amp to push my 500w RMS sub. Also we set the sub and amp with an oscilloscope so the frequency is dead on. It is pushing only 350 watts is all we could squeeze out of this guy. I really like the amp and will use it on another set up but it is far under rated for what it actually claims.

the amp has been doing an amazing job in my wife's SUV pushing a single Planet Audio AC15D in a sealed enclosure. this amp is great if you just want to add a little thump for a low price.

SSL EV1500.1

I've had a couple SSL amps before so I trust the brand. It's very clean, simple & easy to use. Added this amp to my BMW with the Polk audio 12" and it added the right amount of bass. Works just as well as the other 3 I've been through with different setups, although I know this amp can't put out 1500 watts I know it's good for 750 and that's about all I needed for this package but I'm not gonna complain for under $70.

Used to be a good line...

My first SSL EVO was all metal construction. The whole thing was a heat sink. Boomed for 3 years. I ordered a second one, and to my dismay, found gawdy lettering on the face, a cheaper brushed look than the first, and plastic on the sides?! I thought what ever. Still a good amp. Hook it up to previous kit, nothing. Ground wire was shot. Replaced that, and after several hours or so of tweaking, this stupid amp kept sending pulse waves to my subwoofers. Took it to a shop, and it was confirmed dead. This amp could of cooked eggs. R.I.P. SSL... You were once a great company. No longer are you.

good budget amp

I like the amp, it looks great and I'm happy with the overall construction I have it hooked to a digital designs 10" in a power slot box. Good features looks nice would buy again.

Amp sounds good

Amp is installed ans seems to work fine. I got the one with a remote bass control knob which does not work.

Good amplifier

Its good for me but the sub I have does not match with this amp cause my sub is a rockford 12 icnh 800 rms 4 ohms but this amp didn't give the sub more power so it's can be pumps hard but it's good cause he gives a good sound sounds too and he can handle this sub 800 rms watt

Soundstorm ssl EVO 1500 monoblock

Hello, I was looking for an Amp for my sound system, I wanted it to be 1500 watts monoblock, but I found a soundstorm ssl EVO and decide to try it. I installed it in my truck and to be honest works great, very good quality and pretty amazing power. It hits the subs very good. I personally recommend this 1500 watts monoblock amp. ( the price it's worth it)

Great amp with features!

This amp is pushing a Soundstream Stealth13, in a sealed box in my 2011 Tundra DC and it fits behind my back seat easily, Features on this amp to tune in the power and sound are great, I dont use the external control knob but it does work.
For the $$$ you get hard hitting power that doesnt overheat (so far) and that fives you options on sound and multiple sub hookup as well.
