Nice EQ

Just purchase this product a few weeks ago. Great item. I didn't really need it but it did improve my system 10%. I would recommend this item to anyone who does not have an OK deck. In the end, it was a great buy.

Fine tuning at your fingertips!

I purchased this equalizer and am extremely satisfied with it's quality, features, and sound processing clarity. I run this unit to my jl 300/4 amp, and to my two jl 1000/1's. I had to turn my gain down on both 1000/1's to about 1/3 instead of having it at 1/2 and the bass is so much louder. This soundstream unit is very high quality and easy to install with the speaker plugs requiring a remote input, power input, and ground input which can be easily spliced from your head unit. The MPQ4X0 has a very subtle blue led behind each knob which is excellent for helping you nagivate your controls. The Master Volume Control is exceptional! Sometimes songs that you download etc. are written at a poor bitrate, in which they product poor sound (low music). All you do is simply turn your master volume control up a bit and you have a great song! Be careful with this unit though because if you turn the sub frequency level up to quickly it can be an incredible burst of bass which can kill cheap subs. But, for high quality subs, it can be a great advantage. The control knobs on this unit are push button, meaning you push in the knob you wish to adjust,and the knob "ejects" to allow you to fine tune, then once your done you simply push the knob back into place and it stays exactly where you want it to.
Overall, a superb purchase that I personally think any high-end system should consider, and when you consider sonicelectronics superb service and unbeatable prices, it's honestly just a smart buy.
