Sounded Great Out the Box!
Sound Quality, Hi Bandwidth Driver. Very capable across the the whole spectrum. I often play em full range and love it.
I'm impressed by the build quality and engineering . Most of all by the Sound. The midrange is perfect to my ears and the highs are great too. I love the fullness of the bass.
These are a steal! Secrets out if ya didn't know. I'll get a second pair before they sell out. A+ Soundstream

Almost forgot to add. Sonic Electronix did a great job of shipping these out safely,fast, and came in a big box and even got some free sound deadener. Everything looks perfect. Once again Awesome speakers! Well worth the price too, good deal. Thanks!

Punching way above price tag.

I replaced a set of German made mb quart components with these. I expected good sound from these but was suprised at how good they sound. I had to get my a pillars custom flushed for my tweeters so for two days i just ran the 6.5 woofer connected to the passive xover to break it in. Man these things sound better than some 2 way coax i have had in the past. A true wide bandwith driver lows mids and highs wow.. Seriously you could run these mids without the tweeter. Once i had my a pillars complete the tweeters sealed the deal this set reminds me of the old mb quart q series, very detailed verging but not quit on the bright side, nice paper cone and silk highs make the sound very natural and true, Played some Erika Badu, Steely Dan, Yello and OutKast through them, very impressive set made by soundstream. High quality from the woofer frame to the stiff paper cone and tweeter housing. Will be getting a second pair asap.

Goodish value

Decent product in terms of wrms-cost. They sound alright although I am going to seal my doors tomorrow so that might help with midbass response. Buying cheap speakers will provide cheap sound, bottom line. For those of you who don't think these are cheap... Well, they are comparatively. Sound better than stock but not by leaps and bounds. Running stock radio amplified at 100wrms each, they can probably take 80-90 wrms before distortion.

Got two sets one for the front doors and one for the rear doors cant beat the price and soundstream makes well built products sonic is a awesome company to deal with this is the third build and all my equipment comes in no damage on time even got it here before the day they promised Merry Christmas to me thanks sonic and Soundstream they sound amazing
