Wow. Power.

This amp puts out what it says. I blew two subs and I'm working on my third. I had a sundown audio 10" and a alpine SWR-10D4. And that sub is rated 1000 watts RMS and 3000 peak. I was breaking in this sub so nothing on the amp was turned up past half way and it just decided to seize up. All in all amazing amp.

Great amp

I bought this amp brand new for $225. I have this amp hooked up to 2 alpine type Rs at 1ohm, in a sealed box. Thihs amp stays cool for long periods of times and i had the amp tested to see if it really does do the 1000 watts rms and to my surprise its was higher than that, it was around 1100. for the price you cant beat this amp. I was thinking about getting a mrp 1000 but this amp hits harder and clean. (my cousin has a mrp) trust me you will love this amp its slams and pounds.

Great amp on a budget!!!!

I was looking for a decent powerfull amp on the low $$$. I ran across the soundstream, and knew they were good product back in the days. I figured why not give it a try since the price was right. It's all I needed and it has worked really well, I have it wired to 2ohm on a single 12" type r. I have jammed it hard and it hasn't gave me any problems. So far I'm happy. If I decide to upgrade my system I would look into the bigger rubicons series. Plus they look really nice and top quality built consider it's made in China. So far china did a great job with these. Don't hesitate to buy one, you'll be happy with it since it didn't hurt the wallet :-)

Great amp

This amp is great, I wasn't so sure if I wanted to buy this since the other two amps I bought front sonic were defects, but I'm glad I did. This amp is perfect. I'm running it to a 10" sundown audio at 1 ohm and this thing pounds. The first day I had it in my car I got pulled over because it was too loud.

Hard Hitting But...

I had this for 2 weeks and it clipped and shorted out on me. After reading some not so good reviews about it i chose to send it back for a something different. I had this amp wired down to 1 ohm on the RE audio sex 12 v2 and it pounded while functioning.

Great amp

I have this running at 1 ohm 1000x1 to a Sundown Audio SA-12 D2 in a sealed box. I can run it hard for my entire 1 hour commute to and from work and when I check the temp after the drive, it is literally just at room temperature. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. This is a very solid amp, very happy with my purchase.

Great Amp!

This amplifier is well built and puts out clean to my single 12" subwoofer. My Infinity Kappa 120.9w woofer has great transient response - the motor structure has great woofer control for excellent sound quality sub bass.

If the RUB1.1000D did not have good woofer control and clean, powerful output, the Infinity woofer would be sure to let me know - as it would distort at full volume (with gains set properly) and/or have muddy bass. The bass is super clean, digs deep, and even at max source volume, there is no distortion - but at that volume it shakes the hell out of my Lexus - no rattles though thanks to great work by Lexus from the factory and the added sound deadener I installed.

The look on my wife's face, and grimace + hands to ears, when I cranked it up with her in the passenger seat - PRICELESS! :)

The amp also looks very nice and doesn't get too hot at load (could hold my hand on heat sink without burning) - and I was testing in 95+ degree weather.

This is a heavy SOB, built like a tank, and good components inside, so pretty sure this will prove very durable.

Great Amp

I purchased this amp to replace a 8 year old Phoenix Gold amp that blew up a few months back. I am very pleased with the amp, it is much louder than my old amp. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it sounded considering the price. My only issue is that the instructions are a bit vague on how to set everything, but I figured it all out in the end.
