Best 6x9...believe it!!!
I have rocked a pair of these in the doors and a pair in the rear deck of my Chrysler for almost 5 years now and they can handle every bit of the 130 W RMS I throw at them! The door speakers were so loud and clear that I stopped using the rears for rear fill and put more power to the front stage instead - and they just keep going! It's a shame to use these with just head unit or factory system power when they absolutely come alive using an aftermarket amp. 3-ohm wiring, BIG magnets (they BARELY clear the windows in my doors) and swiveling tweeters that are not too bright at high volume make these really good for a speaker upgrade. Perfect mids and highs for the price - don't try to play them below 80 Hz at high volume (I had to sound deaden the doors to play them at 60 Hz high-pass), but they will fill your cabin with the mids and highs you want when you turn up the tunes. Add a subwoofer and you are in business! Can't stress enough to TUNE YOUR AMP to maximize the power without distortion, these are built to last and I haven't wanted another 6x9 since I got these.
