For the price...this is a great sub

I have a T5.124 run by a digital design DM2500 @1ohm and this woofer takes a beating! Very happy and will but a spare just in case

Setting Alarms OFF!

These Tarantulas are a beast. I got 2 in a ported box tuned to 34hz being pushed by a picasso amp at 0.8ohms for a true 2200rms CLAMPED!! and these spiders will make your ears hurt. These subs are at there best below 80hz kinda pointless above that. True SPL subwoofers. Oh yea they set off car alarms!! (YOU NEED AN EXTRA BATTERY)

You'll fall in love

I have two of these running off my soundstream tl. 4000 amp and this by far the best system I've ever owned/installed/ or heard. I've had Mtx, Alpine, Jbl, and some light stuff pioneer, sony, and infinity. These things knock so hard ! They hit very clear and to me the sound quality is one of the best. Soundstream has really stepped thier game up on this one! If it's in your budget don't let these bad boys pass you by trust me you won't regret it!

I am doing a full Soundstream build I purchased two of the Soundstream t5's sadly I had a problem with one of them I had to file a are a request from Sonic Electronix they were very helpful and made the return and exchanged easy and problem free I am loving the product and the customer service I have gotten from Sonic Electronix I have the subs on the tarantula 6000.1 I am loving the sound quality and the deep bass from it

Custom 4th order single

Built a custom 4th order box for a soundstream t5122 single sub with
Sundown audio amplifiers. Mono amp and 4 channel, with image dynamics 6.5 components. Prior I had a massive audio hippo 12 in a vented box. Wanted something diff and for the $ u can't beat it when on sale. I ran it in my vehicle for about 1 year in a 4th order. Box made some impressive spl with the t5.12. I could turn it up and watch the mirrors of the car in front of me shake. A year later it is now still I'm the 4th order but is hooked up to a planet audio amp and a cpu power supply in my daughters room in basement. Wife on 2nd floor says it looks like jurassic park when she's in the bath 2 floors up and always gets upset. I give this thing 5***** for price durability and powerful sound.
