I bought these in November but I just had them installed by Best Buy a few days ago. The image is pretty nice and you can change the aspect ration. In wide screen it fills the entire screen....I have seen no black bars. It looks good and it does what it is supposed to do. I bought the extra warranty on both. They are just headrests monitors so they still need to be installed to some type of DVD player. I have only had in use for a few days so I cannot speak to durability.
