I bought this because it was a great price and would like to see what's behind my car when I back up.

Quick and easy

Great product, very simple installation procedure. The enclosed instructions are a little vague, but it is a straight forward process. Various mounting options are included, and even a hole saw is included. The only issue I had was the video cable wasn't very high quality, I ended up having to replace it after the tinning came off and the cable wouldn't output video.

This is my second Heigh10 I've purchased, I have one in my 18 Silverado and now in my 05 Tahoe. These floating screen headunits are very expensive though, my one and only complaint otherwise I love everything else about it.

Clear Video, Easy installation, Seamless Integration, Cheap Hardware

Video quality is very good on this camera and the extra mounts make it easy to fit a wide range of vehicles. I installed mine as a rearview camera to supplement my aftermarket head unit. All the wiring I needed was included. I stripped the head on both mounting screws even after drilling pilot holes. be careful of that. Overall I am very pleased with this camera, I see it be a high-quality product.

Optical out

Bought this because it is one of the very few hus with an spdif out. That said, for some reason in the latest firmware upgrade, Stinger decided to grey out eq settings when toslink is active...? I don't understand why? Why take away functionality? I get the crossover points, I guess... But why the eq? I have a full active system but as I am waiting for all the parts to acquire it sure would be nice to have an eq!

Stinger Heigh10 installed in a 2014 Ram Ecodiesel with PAC SRK -RAM13H

The HEIGH10 was purchased to replace an original Connect 5.0 OEM in my 2014 Ram. The install was fairly straight forward for me but you do need some skills. I’ve installed many audio systems in vehicles over the years so the process was nothing new maybe a few more wires to deal with. I also installed an aftermarket backup camera and speakers. I’ll say for the backup camera it is better to run the 12v power and ground wire from the HEIGH10 as it seems to run without any glitches. (I tried the easy way first). Doing it this allows the camera to function on demand as well as being a reverse camera.
The unit looks good and everything works as it should once the vehicle is running. I’ve noticed that one has to connect the usb cable to your phone after the vehicle is running otherwise my phone gives an error that the power connector has moisture in it. The USB-C cable that connects to the HEIGH10 from the phone has to be of good quality.
The sound is excellent and much improved over the OEM system but this is the result of the HEIGH10 and the upgraded speakers.
Having Android Auto via Bluetooth would be a bonus.

Quality where it matters

I’ve owned two of these units, one for my 2018 ram 1500, I will say, I wish there were more integration with the gm vehicles, as this is in my 2015 Yukon xl. On the ram, I could clear check engine lights, see real time live data like engine fluid temps, horsepower etc.

But the functions this radio provides is too tier. Works 100% of the time,

I will say the phone side of it sometimes is picky, but it could be with the wireless adapter im using to have wireless CarPlay.

Great for the price

I like how modular this camera is, was fairly simple to put together in the combination I wanted. I like that the camera lens can be pointed since where mine is mounted sloped slightly. Image appears pretty clear. I just hope this one lasts longer than the crux cub01 camera that lasted less than 24 hours.
