This is a fantastically designed grommet for 1/0 wire running through your firewall. It screws tightly into place, and progressively crimps inward against the wire with a soft insulated material (so you can potentially use a smaller gauge wire, if desired). Recommended.

good 1/0 grommet

Good waterproof grommet just had to modify to fit my application because wasn't the grommet wasn't long enough where it fit threw fire wall. Because spotiI put it threw wasn't flat. But dremeled it and made it work. Besides that worked pretty good.

I was going to return this because my amp kit came with a firewall grommet, but the Stinger grommet is so much better. The grommet adjusts to securely tighten your power wire. However, the cutout diameter is much larger than most grommets I've worked with, which results in cutting larger holes in your firewall.It's a little expensive for a piece of plastic, but it's worth it.

i got these for my car and never used them, i couldn't find a place flat enough to put them, but i used them in my brothers car and it turned out great, we didn't use them on the firewall though, more like in the trunk

Good solution

I needed a solid grommet to feed my 1/0 wire through the firewall, this did the trick. Secures nicely snug fit.
