They do work

All I can say is these things work as advertised. They aim the sound and cancel back waves. Thus increasing mid bass. This along with sound deadener in your doors will make a noticable difference. The only draw back is they are not waterproof.

roadkill or not?

this is tricky cause i put this in with new component speakers, and they sound great. (huge improvement) is it the speakers or the kill or the combo? there is no tinny or muddy sound any more. the sound is certainly more directionally from it, as it has a 2in tunnel to come out of (front doors s10 xcab) before it spreads. now i got it for free with the speaker purchase. i really dont know if i would pay $16 for foam. that said i need to mention that its cut for perfect fit and very easy to install. i just went out for a better listen and i do believe its a combo.

A must

This is such an inexpensive product that it is a must when doing a pair of door speakers. It helps with getting the sound to your ears instead of sending it through the door cards.

Roadkill 6" and 6.5" FAST Rings (RKFR6)

I wish there was a way for the big center pad to be the size of the entire circle as there are instances where you cannot place the intermediate ring in the door, and the window makes things even harder. Given the price though these do the trick and do it easily. They stick well to most any surface, including roadkill sound deadening.

What can one say about foam? The large circle that sticks to the door was just the right thickness to not hit the window when rolled down. I had to skip the outer rings on my install because of the way everything mounted, but the large hunk stuck to the roadkill mat I placed in the door and once pressed into place did not budge when tugged on. Sonic's price made the purchase and install a no brainer even if I didn't use all the rings.

Keep Sound in the Vehicle

Roadkill Fast Rings work great in keeping your music focused inside the car. They also provide protection for your speakers from debris and rain that can get into your door panel. I would recommend and buy again.

Increasing your speakers volume

I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve the sound of their stereo. Sealing the speakers up to the door panels in my car increased their volume to the point of having to increase the volume of the rear speakers using the stereos fader. I will never buy car speakers again without purchasing these also. In my opinion, these speaker rings could make a crappy set of speakers sound good.I am extremely pleased with their performance.
