I used this to install a subwoofer and amp to my factory Bose speaker system. Everyone said to install it between the factory amp and Bose 8" sub, but I knew better and tapped in between the factory deck and amp. My 12" Alpine Type-X sub (also purchased from Sonic) sounds clean and has never had any distortion or interference, I set the converter levels once and it has been great ever since. I have a "bass knob" on the JL 500/1 amp so I can control the bass from the driver seat. Not the best setup but it sounds awesome for a factory tap-in. I would recommend this line converter to everyone!

works great! im using it for a custom install in my room and its adjustable - adjustable left and right. great sound quality.
