Well built RCAs

Bought these to try and solve a very tough alternator noise problem I have but it didn't. Tested the cable in my other car and it was perfectly fine, my 2010 Challenger has a tough problem I need to find and fix. I thought a more expensive cable would solve my problem, but nope. Anyway Stinger makes high quality products, you cannot go wrong with their stuff.

Bang for the buck.

These RCA's are clean and simple, no noise coming from these cables.

Mid range pricing for a quality cable

I performed a 2 amp, head unit, and door speakers installation in my teenage daughter's first car, an '09 VW Tiguan.

After the install was complete I decided to change the location of the 4ch amp and had to extend it's cabling. I used RCA femalefemale connectors and additional RCA cables for the signal, and this introduced alternator whine (bad!).

Because teenagers are highly critical of appearances, I knew this wasn't acceptable. Plus, I want my daughter to be able to brag about her stereo system that her dad installed. I knew that the whine was due to the extended RCA cables, so I was going to have to run a new set of RCA cables - and that's where these Stinger SI4420 cables came in to play.

I had already reinstalled the interior trim and didn't want to pull everything apart. These Stinger cables are flat, ribbon style cables and I was able to install them on the passenger side of the car, away from the power cables that are on the driver's side. The Tiguan trim allowed me to slide the flat Stinger cable up under the trim without removing it. The alternator whine is gone, totally, and these cables made that happen. The 20 foot length allowed me to make the run to to the amp's location in the cargo area and still have a little extra length left over.

Good cable, good quality, solid connectors, and the flat ribbon design made installation simple. I can't bring myself to pay upwards of $100 for RCA cables and these prove that I didn't need to.
