Not like any 10's I've ever heard
Wanted to try the M-Series. The X's were our go-to, but these M's are pretty much on the same level. Had to go with 10's due to space but ended up not being a compromise at all. Anything in the high 20's to mid 30's frequency really shines and has resulted in just having to remove the rear view mirror to keep it from continuously falling. It was unusable anyway because it instantly just pointed straight down after a few seconds.
Installed 2 of these in 3 cube box net, port tuned to 32hz. Pretty much followed exact manufacturer specs. Powering these with two 2300w amps at 1ohm each. One on each sub. They seem very happy with that power and haven't complained once. Of course make sure the electrical for supporting that is good to go.
One note, the "weight" on Sonic's specs is a bit light. These subs are heavy and the weight listed on the manufacturer box says 55lbs, per sub. Sonic had 25lbs at my time of purchase.
One last tip on mounting. Sundown mounting rings seem to mount perfectly with SPAX cabinet screws. I used the 2" screws to mount to a double 3/4 plywood baffle. I struggled a bit finding the perfect screw.
Sonic shipping was stupid fast and the subs arrived in perfect condition.
