Great Peice Of Gear
300W @ 8-Ohms x's 2
I own two of these, and hoping to get two more
This amp just keeps getting louder, no fuzz, no grind, no growl!
Just flipping LOUD!!!
Pros:
This is the quietest amp I have every owned or used, I own a dozen amps a mix of both solid state and tube. Most amps with no "Audio Input" are still very noisy, I think this one very clean.
Cons:
The little 1-inch cooling fans will get kind of noisy, but if the amp is under the counter or in a rack, away from your microphones, this is not to big of a deal.
Biggest complaint, no output protection. If pushed hard this amp will clip like there is no tomorrow.
So far no damage to the amp, I think because it is digital it will not fry as fast as a regular amp.
I did wind up getting a Behringer DSP1124P Limiter for each amp @ $99 this is still way cheaper than any other amp I have looked at even with a built in limiter.
And for your $99 you get a heck of a lot more options than any amp will ever get you.
Bottom Line: !!!!!!!!!!
Inexpensive, Kicks Booty, Best Bang for the Buck
