The Sonic 1501X Passive Sub Woofer

I decided last year to go with a more simpler full fidelity PA system and a Passive Sub-woofer seemed the best way to go. This model does have a 150 Mhz pass thru which makes it very good to use in series with the mains. They are light weight and the 15" sub does give a good thump and push air. My only wish is that the corners were a little more heavy duty to protech the cabinets. The carpet cover is OK, but maybe a spray on truck bedliner type finish would be a lot more durable. A slightly higher price would be well worth the mods. May I also suggest that there be a smaller 18" Sub Cabinet - since the industry standard seems to go with 18" subs, but these 15" are a nice surprise.

Not Bad For the money

I am running two of these 1501 subs with a 3000 watt amp. They will definitely sound good for someone who listens to classic rock. Real heavy bass music is ok on them. You have to back them off a bit, but still sound descent.

worth the $

I stack 2 of these behind me while Dj'ing. The lows vibrate threw me and fill a small banquet hall. I am happy with all my Dj purchases with Sonic.
