Best kit money can buy

This kit includes everything I needed for my 4-channel JL Audio amp. I love it. The look of the fuse holder is awesome and the braided cable protector is great under the hood too. The RCAs worked like a charm and I had plenty of speaker wire included. No complaints.

Great Head unit with lots of features.

First impression; Great looking GUI, button layout is pretty good, FIts nice and flush with the bezel kit with the lower interface sticking out.

Touch screen is pretty accurate for a in-car system. I've had a few that you had to press once or twice to get what you wanted.

So many Color choices, matched my orange nissan lighting perfectly, you'd think its a OEM instal!

Volume control / EQ software is great and accurate.
( I love the physical button volume controls).

The audio just from this deck brought my paper speakers to life, huge improvement. Held me off a few months before getting new speakers.

The Appradio app can be clumsy and could use some work.

Mirror Link from my HTC One M8 works pretty well, Though the screen fresh time (From when you swipe/drag) is noticeably slow, but you can't expect much more from a USB cable without going USB 3.0 and updating the software a lot.

I LOVE, (and i cant express it enough) the fact that you only need ONE, yes i said ONE cable to connect your phone for mirrorlink / Appradio. No buy our pioneer special cable bull&*# nonsense. USB Male-Female extension is included. You can use your USB cable to operate the device. (NO 40$ cables from pioneer required!) at least in my experience.


I recommend this head unit, lots of bells and whistles for the price. And i am all about price/performance.

Have not installed yet but it seems to be everything it claims to be. Did recomend itnto a friend but he didn't listen and spent way to much for a kitat a local best buy. Did a lot of research before I bought this kit and it looked like the best value for my hard earned money. Having not yet installed is why I didn't go all five stars. Soon it will be going into my 89 olds custom cruiser with 4 12s....

This wiring kit is the best I've used so far. It bends very easy in tight places and this is the size wire that I actually paid for. Don't waste $ on cheaper brands...NVX is AWESOME!!!

Great Radio

This DVD player is great. I love the features and the amount of tuning available is why I always choose Pioneer. Having the old Pioneer Premier 980BT, I was kind of bummed that Pioneer did away with the feature of putting your own personal pictures on as background pics or screensavers. Also, I wish they would update the software so I can use the MirrorLink feature with my Note 4. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great unit that just got better!!!

I ordered the Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS because of the vast variety of features it has. Installing was easy with the Schoshe mount and harness, and the e-brake bypass cable is a must.
Love being able to play video and use apps while the car is in drive.
Perhaps the coolest feature about the Pioneer is the new "Appradio One", which allows you to use only one cable, the USB-lightning for iPhone or USB-USB for android to use appradio mode instead of having to get the insane number of adapters. Available through a free firmware update.
Overall this unit rocks, amazing sound output and a plethora of features.
Sonic Electronix made it extremely easy to get everything together I needed, and I LOVE this pioneer. *highly recommended*

Quality Amp Kit

This amp kit is high quality. Don't expect sound hiss or whining from you audio system if you use this kit. As long as you wire everything up right and run your wires properly, then this kit is the best for the money and you'll like the quality. High quality copper makes a big difference in sound quality and proper power distribution.
NVX deserves a pat on the back for making this one. Good job.

Nice amp kit.

The speaker, power, and ground wire are exceptional. Very flexible, easy to run, no smell, true to size and just look and feel nice. The RCA looks good too but the ends fit on my amp a little loose. All in all, the kit works perfectly and looks good

This was a great kit to deal with and would recommend it to all of my friends. This was a really good quality kit that will also look good in any install .

Don't cheap out

I hesitated to go with a true amp install kit until I matched this up with a Rockford Fosgate amp that called for a 4 gauge install kit. Just the ease of installation was well worth the price. For 4-gauge wire this is really flexible and easy to snake through the dash and under the hood. Don't believe me? Go to a big box hardware store and just see how in-flexible 4-gauge copper house wire can be. Plus, the difference in the protective jacket of the two is night and day. The NVX kit is a winner hands down. I didn't need to use everything in the kit. Some of the hardware bits I passed up. But I used all the rest. Glad I bought it.

Knocks your socks off

This amp has plenty of power. I don't know how much headroom I have to spare because I am not going any louder - no way!

I listen to classic rock (Rush, etc.), and it is nice and clean... and this is with keeping my factory el cheapo head unit in my Hyundai.

I have some hiss when sound is off, and it could be I have the gains set too high. I will be checking that later (because it got too late tonight, and we needed to finish for the day), but I feel quite sure there is no fault with the amp. I am giving this great rating based on having listened for 1 hour so far. As long as the amp holds up for the long haul, it is a great amp for a great price.

Best deck I have ever installed

I installed this deck for a friend and wow... this deck is incredible. There are so many different ways to make your sound perfect for whatever type of music you listen to. The 4V preouts put out very strong and clean signals. And there is so much customization you can mess around with to make it do what ever you want. It has already exceeded my expectations and i feel like I have only scratched the surface.

Great fit behind 2013 Frontier Crew Cab Rear Seat

This amp was perfect solution for the limited hidden space in my Crew Cab Frontier. Installed behind rear seat. Powers 4 Image Dynamics 6.5" door speakers + Image Dynamics 10" Subwoofer. Sounds great and performs great. Haven't noticed any issues such as heat. I would recommend and have recommended.

This is a great kit. The wires are great quality and it comes with shrink wrap and fuse holder. Even the speaker wire is great. If you're installing an amp, these are the kits you need.

Great screen for the price. Cool visual and audio customization. Looks amazing in my dodge charger and works well with my galaxy s4. The only downside is it only shows album art via bluetooth using a iPhone or Pandora. If u connect it using usb it shows the album art.

Great value!!

I purchased this amp in March '14, but waited a few months before reviewing. This is an excellent amp without question. I have had zero issues with it since day 1. It does not heat up the way my old Alpine amp did, and will only get warm to the touch after hours of use. Highly recommended.

This wire is awesome. .... The installers ran this wire to my 4 channel (Hifonics Brutus X-14 800.4) and monoblock (Hifonics BRD 2000.1D) it handles the current quite nicely. ... doesn't get hot either. .. definitely recommend this. ...

very nice kit

The kit is complete and the power & ground wire are very nice looking and high quality. They are very flexible too and not super stiff like many others. The fuse holder is nice and compact. The speaker wire is excellent too.
Just make sure you add your battery adapter!

NVX 5 channels amplifier

This is my first car amplifier. It been a great suggestion from a representative seller from Sonic electr. Today I can listeng to my music from a great amplifier that can keep a lot power. I been using it since 3 moths and now I'm more familiar with the ampli and also with my new radio (also get it at Sonic). I have the best of 2 worlds. Finally, I great thanks to Michael, a seller that answer to all my question and gave the best advises to a bigginner as me. I got from Sonic my Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS, my Polk MM speakers and my NVX Amplifier. All that toghter makes a great combination. I went with Sonic because of a such great service. Top of the line

This is an amp kit that will bring peace of mind as soon as you open it. This kit is top of the line without question. Look at all of the other brands and even try them (I have had kicker and fosgate kits) then compare to the nvx kit. Without question a must buy for anyone looking to actually get a much better product than what they paid for.

Nice Radio

This is my second pioneer in recent years before this i had the 4400bhs and decided to get this one. I love the new software and when you do the upgrade it adds more functionality to the radio. You cant go wrong with this radio.

Great deal!

This amp is pretty awesome so far. I wanted to have a so gel amp that I could tuck under my passenger seat on my 2011 Mazdaspeed 3. It fits perfectly, teamed up with the nvx 4 gauge amp kit and the the nvx 1 farad cap. I get minimal power drop at idle and nothing when driving. No lights dimming, nothing. But my sub is numbing and speakers are loud and clear. Love it so far. Highly reccomended.

Awesome kit but could've used more speaker connectors

Well the above wasn't really an issue besides me having to stop by the hardware store and getting more crimp connectors. But when paying the amount of money required for this kit, I would've expected more connectors. They only provide you with 4 crimp connectors. Yep, just 4, which accounts for the positive side of the speaker but then you're left in the dark for the negative side of the speaker. Weird. Otherwise they weren't kidding about the thickness of this cable. Does the job wonderfully for the Pioneer GM-D8604. Plenty of speaker wire...more than I needed. All other wires included in the kit were more than enough for my 03 Altima.

Nice amplifier, you should have one

Very nice amplifier, crystal clear sound transformation and small size which could fit in your car anywhere, and light weight to save some gas.

Installation pretty easy, but need to buy other accessories to install, all the lines are pretty, but shipment takes some time. If they are in a whole package will be easy and save customer some time. Thanks.

Small foot print, lots of output , runs cool !

I purchased this amp cause of the great reviews it has. It has a really small foot print. the power ratings where in the range I was after. I play my music pretty loud and have never had any concerns of over heating. The amp runs warm at times The output is very clean and smooth sounding. The only thing I wished it had was maybe a bass boost around45Hz for the front and rear channels. The subwoofer does have bass boost option. I have not tried to use it. I am using the Rockford fasgate 360.3 so I run the the amp with all eq's and boost off. But overall this is a great amp. I have been very impressed by NVX so far.

Love it, could be more user friendly though

Love it, but they seemed to have forgotten something, like an off button. If it's there, I can't find it, and it isn't in the manual either! The only way I see how is to select AV source and touch off. Why can't they put that on the screen as soon as you touch the source button? Would have liked it more if the song titles and artist names could be displayed on a line longer than 10 characters or whatever. You're forced to sit and wait for the rest of the info to scroll in. Perhaps all RDS systems are like this? LOVE the radio otherwise. Definitely delivers more powerful sound than stock radio in Toyota camry non-jbl radio. My inside door panels rattle, have to lower bass and adjust sound to keep it clean. I also wish the display would tilt towards you (top part towards you), you can only tilt the bottom part out towards you. It could use a dedicated seek + and - Instead of the awful press and hold for a second, also can't get the scan tuning (where it plays each station for 5 seconds and goes to the next one) to work as instructed in the manual. No need for a bypass with this radio, just ground the brake wire, you know, so you can watch this movie without needing to pull the e brake. I expect this to last a while. Even in sub-zero weather, lcd opens and closes strongly. Lcd touch panel needs to be just a bit more sensitive, just a bit...

I was skeptical at first but very glad I bought this amp.

I was looking for a smaller amp to replace my two larger amps that I had from a previous install.
I had use the Massive NX5 last year and had the over heating issue every time I was in my car.
The NVX has yet to have any problems. It gets warm to the touch after a 45 min drive but not flaming hot like some other amps.
I like to play my music loud so I was worried that the 70 watts RMS its rated for would disappoint. I had the exact opposite experience! This amp pushes my CDT speakers with ease.

Also note that you can run your system active just by using the built in crossovers.

Great unit. Pioneer has come a long way.

The only negative that I can say about this unit is that it seems to have a hard time staying connected to HD (digital) radio. As a result, the listening experience when using the radio suffers. Every time the unit acquires or loses a digital signal, the sound stutters slightly. It is very noticeable. However, if radio isn't your main concern then this may be the unit for you. Bluetooth sounds great and displays artwork when using Pandora. There are plenty of EQ options and so many settings it may be a little overwhelming for some. In my opinion it's better to have more than not enough.

Great kit for the price but did not include a sub woofer cable so be sure to buy seperately. Cable was very flexible and easy to work with. Fuse was of good quality. Boots and connectors included. One of the rca cables had a bad connector

Worth every penny

I have all JL in my truck from amps to speakers so i know what good sounds like,i was looking for something cheap that sounds good for my daughters car without breaking the bank,This amp is awesome its clear and powerful it sounds as good as my $800 jl amp,,i would buy this amp a 100 times over,,you will not be dissapointed..Its pushing 4 ,,,
6 3/4 jl and 2 10inch subs,,it sounds unreal sooooooo clean..

Great amp for a great price

This is a very good amp for the price. Sound stage is clear and the bass seems very well controlled.

Great amp kit

This is a great amp kit, I got it bundled free with a JBL 5ez amp. Great that they included all wiring for 4 channels. I think I even wired the sub with the extra speaker wire from this kit (essentially got 5ch out of it). Oxygen free copper. Flexible wiring. It's great.

Some small cons:
The ground wire is way too short. Ended up using 0 gauge from my installer since he wanted to ground my amp to the frame of my car. This ground wire wasn't nearly long enough to do that. Ended up giving my ground wire from this kit to him, and using a 0 gauge wire he had. (shaved the 0g wire down so it would fit in my amp terminal).

Also the grommit for the power wire is super super tight, which isnt a bad thing. But we had to actually reverse the power wire to run it through the grommit after drilling through the firewall. The nice looking protection for that section of the cable we weren't able to use. We just used some plastic housing for the cable instead, and the part designed for the hood went into the trunk. It would have been nice to use the power cable as designed. Overall it worked out though.

Still a nice amp kit can't complain since it was bundled free! Speaker wire was great though!

Audiophile Qualities

Needed to replace 4x 6.5" speakers in my Jaguar XK8 ..., I did choose the TS-D series since in mho they are engineered also with a great emphasis on acoustic music, like classic and jazz ..., telltale sign is the soft domes which is very similar to ones used in high end home system speakers, better performance is also insured by use of 12dB high pass & 6 dB low pass filters for the tweeter/woofer and that with a very decent quality of capacitors and coils ..., so sound quality is no wonder matching the build quality .., the upper highs of the tweeter are a little dull which is what can expected form the seize of 1.1/8" soft dome.., the woofer are excellent all the way down to 80Hz ..., pretty much a perfect unit for use with subwoofer(s) & a pair of dash mounted super tweeters

Best Bang For your Buck!

I was a bit reluctant at first since I never heard of NVX but the Rep at Sonic highly recommended it stating that it was a great product with awesome Sound Quality.

He was right!

To take it further I decided to contact NVX in California and spoke to Richard. I picked his brain regarding the JAD900.5 and he went into all of the details and completely addressed all of my questions and concerns.

He also took the time to advise on the proper setting up and matching the unit to other equipment.

I received it and installed it immediately, tweaked the tuning to it's best and all I can say is WOW!!!!! 279? This amp is "EXTEMELY" well worth every penny and then some!!!!

I have had top brand products before and to be honest they are just extremely Over Rated and way over Priced!

It hits very hard and I don't have the Gain Levels turned all the way up.
It doesn't heat up after being driven for hours straight non stop .

Amazing Quality!

This 5 channel is just Amazing in every aspect! I have it in my 2000 mustang i just put a new components and 6x8's with 2 boston acoustics 12's in a 4.1cube box @34hz and this amp makes everything sound so clear clean and crisp i was so amazed. i extremely recommend this product worth every penny thats for sure!

Great Amp!!!

I purchased this amp to replace a dead channel FLI amp that was DOA and no longer available from sonic. Kinda got pushed into a more expensive amp but they were right. I am pushing 2 pairs of polk db components and a 8" JBL gto sub. WOW!!! Great mid sonic lows and very clean. I have pushed this amp for an hour at moderate to high levels and not even warm to the touch. Not a hint of clip at near unlistenable levels. Best 5 channel amp out there that i have ever heard. I am now a loyal NVX Customer! Thanks Sonic.

Great Amp

I purchased this amp after must research for my 2013 Ford F150, This amp has turned out to be a great investment. Running a set of J L Audio 5x7 components up front and a set of Infinity 5x7 Kappas in rear. Driving a J L Audio 10 inch sub in down firing box under rear seat. All the power you'll need. Great product

This amp has so far been flawless. The only downside is the fine tuning is not as great. Still workable but the space it takes up is minimal. I have a Nice 10" Rockford attached and if not monitored can destroy it.

My experience with Sonic Electronix has been excellent ! The NVX product line is a fantastic value and the performance rivals products 3 times the cost. The JAD900.5 is the amp you need if you are looking to run your whole car audio system with 1 amplifier. I have been so VERY impressed with the power and performance from an amp with such a small footprint. I have 8 speaker running off the 4 stereo channels and one 12in 4ohm sub from the sub output. This amp has more than enough power and is capable of putting out 1000watts RMS of clean, clear power if you want to max it out. For $299 this amp is a steal of a deal and I could not be happier with my purchase. It has all the features you need in a car audio amp except High level inputs which I did not need. I give this amp 5 stars across the board and you will to. I did my research first and it paid off in spades. JUST BUY IT !

NVX JAD900.5

Recently purchased the NVX JAD900.5. Quality look, quality feel, and more importantly quality sound. Excellent value, would purchase again. I also purchased the VSP65KIT 6.5" component set, also sound well beyond the purchase price. NVX provides affordable, high quality products. Excellent value, would purchase again.

Excellent amp, excellent price

Pro's: The sound is excellent, puts out more than enough power, the price is very good. I was between this and a high end JL amp. I own a JL300/2. I would say this amp is comparable. It's main advantage being it's price. It has a good set of crossovers, easy to use, and good protection from a short circuit.

Con's: I know I'm being picky but I wish there were more options with the crossovers. One channel has a HPF up to 4000 hz, wish it went a little higher. Other channel has a lpf up to 4000 hz and a hpf up to 400hz. But then again to get fully adjustable crossovers would cost much more.

In the end an excellent amp for a excellent price, if I wanted a new amp with full crossovers and 5 channels it would be at least 2x as much. I recommend getting this one unless you have tons of money.

Awesome AMP at a great price

I couldn't agree more with other reviewers. I hooked this amp up to pioneer components (6.5) inch in the front and JL 5.5 inch two ways in the back of my 2002 honda CRV. Also put a 10 inch shallow enclosed Pioneer sub rated at 200 watts. More than enough power to push everything with plent of gain to spare. Still tweaking but sounds really good. I shopped around and this seamed the best value for the money and got a 2 year warranty when buying the 4 gauge amp install kit. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Only gave 4 on durability because I have only had it hooked up for a week.

Amazing little amp.

Just recently purchased this amp. Got it in one day so I am extremely thrilled with the shipping and service at sonic. I have it powering my entire system with Polk db1240-dvc sub and 2 sets of speakers. In the front I have the Focal 165CA1 and in the back I went with the 690CA1. This amp is tiny and doesn't heat up much at all. I like the controls and I got the gain turned down a little for the 5th ch and my sub sounds great. The highs are crisp on my Focals and I will be back to do my other car sooN! Thanks.

Excellent Choice

Added to the rear doors of 2011 Kia Sportage. These are massive, well built speakers with tweeters that work great off axis. (one of the criteria for me due to the position of the speakers in the doors) Very good sound, doors needed a masive amount of deadening, but the result is worth the trouble. Get 'em while you can.

Best 6.5" Speakers Ever Produced

These speakers first of all, rock. The sound is great. I have had these speakers for 4 years. They have outlived 1 car, a pair of 6.5" Sony speakers, a set of 6.5" Kickers, and 2 amps. Best car audio purchase ever.

Meh

Had this amp die out twice. First time one channel just decided to stop working. Sent it on warranty and they fixed it relatively quick. Just attempted an install on a different car and it immediately went into "Protect". I have verified all wiring is 100% correct (this isn't my first rodeo) and even hooked up a different amplifier, which worked great. Good features at a good price, but just not reliable.

Great AMP

For the price, quality, and build of this amp, you can't beat it.
It has great adjustability (not as much as over $500 Amps), but way more than enough for its use.

It powers my Rockford Fosgate 6'' Fronts, Cerwin Vega 6X9 rears, and a 12' sub perfectly at 4 Ohms, gets plenty loud, but not overly where you'll never use its potential.

The amp will get warm after 30-45 mins of heavy use, but even on a long 350+ mile trip (inlcuding through slow chicago traffic) I never had the amp overheat/shut off.
I have had it for about 6 months now and have no complaints!

It is small and compact, fits right behind my rear fender in the trunk allowing me to tuck it away behind the carpet lining (still no heat issues either & its on the exhaust outlet side that gives some radiant heat).

It has over exceeded my expectations, has a range of adjust-ability and uses. NVX has hit the market spot on with a medium-high level amp that is a premium quality at a effective cost!

Good for the money

These speakers are not 6-1/2" speakers. They have a rather large frame so the actual speaker comes out be about an inch shorter than your average 6-1/2". Aside from that these things have super clear highs and mids and can handle most bass (if u have them properly amped u wont here any thumping but it will sound clear). Good buy if you are replacing stock speakers in the door.

Highly recommend this product hands down exceeded my expectations and the price was unreal. I was uncertain about this product until one of the sales person on the floor gave me this recommendation and it was everything and more. It is a very efficient and cool running amplifier. Very small fits under my seat perfectly.

Nice amp

It is a clean sounding amp that surprisingly for the price has a lot of power. Obviously its not a window breaker but it does its job and can play loud enough for me. I have mine powering a Hertz high energy 51/4 set with a pair of 6x8 MTX speakers as midbass with an RE SE PRO 15 inch sub with an Audison Bit One processor

First one broke after twenty minutes. Contacted Sonic and they sent me a new one asap. Awesome service.

I have this in my 2008 Town & Country powering my Arc Audio XDI693's, RF T1572's and my NVX VSW104! It's small enough to fit under my seat and never runs hot! I have all NVX wires too! The SQ is truly amazing! I spend a lot more time in my vehicle now! The side controls are simple and work great for tuning! The sub remote keeps my wife happy! LOL! The power, ground and remote adapter make the install clean and simple as well! This amp is strong and well put together just like every NVX product! This is an excellent amp and compares to the best JL, Fosgate, or other. Wide range of crossover features, high power, and clear sound. I have owned a JL 300/2 and Fosgate T800.4 and this amp is right along those, but for about 1/2 the price. I have one minor complaint, when using the crossover there aren't any markings between the first frequency (40hz) to the last frequency (4000hz). It makes it difficult to tell exactly what frequency the crossover is set at, an it has to be done by ear. Nonetheless it isn't worth spending twice as much money on an amp just for that feature.

Great Amp

I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to deal with multiple amp setups, I run high cone area to compensate for the low power for the sub channel. I have been building my own systems for 6-7 years now and I would rather have a 15" ID15 with 400 watts to it than my old competition setup of 2.2K watts to a single ten inch. Only reason I don't like the amp(4/5 stars for design) is because it should take 4 AWG in for power and ground, had to use a power distroblock to get it down to 8AWG for my power line.

I would recommend this amp to anybody who has little space to work with. This amp is under rated. It pushes my Sundown audio SD-8 and 4 polk 6.5 speakers with ease.Couldn't be happier with the amp. I had my set-up proffesionally installs, but im trying to tune it myself it myself now, its confusing..lol.. ill learn by experience.Other tahn is kind of hard to tune, its a GREAT AMP.

Hard to find a better value

When I was upgrading my system for a third time I had decided I was going to spend the extra money for high SQ products. When looking for a new 5ch class D I had narrowed my field down to the Hertz HDP 5, the JL 700 /5, and the Polk PA 5000. I spoke with a rep at Sonic about placing an order and he said I should look into the NVX JAD900. Having had bad experiences with new outfits or house brand products in the past I was extremely skeptical. He stated all NVX products were CEA rated and if I were to compare specs I would find the NVX would sit right along side the brand name amps I was interested in.

After much research I found that other than some cosmetic differences the amps all used the same chipset, shared nearly identical dimensions and input and control designs, and we're nearly identical CEA rated power. So why did I choose the NVX in the end? I was able to purchase it for about half of the cost of the brand name amps! The amp installed easily, NEVER runs hot, and has really good SQ. for once in my life I was proven wrong that more money means better quality and performance. Do the research and see for yourself. There is no better product for the money!

Pros: Clean power, small footprint, super efficient, looks great, and the best performance per dollar!

Cons: The status light is super bright making tuning at night pretty difficult. The crossovers are a bit too wide range making it difficult to dial in but it's the same crossover and filter setup used on the well known brand name amps. There were some errors in the wiring diagram but it was an easy fix.

Overall a fantastic whole system solution that lets you spend more on your speakers and less on a brand name companies marketing budget.

Pioneer Premier all the way.

If you want speakers that look great, sound great with all type of music, especially rock/metal, and can handle loud volumes for long periods of time with no problem, then these are for you. Great speakers, owned them for several months now, only running off decks 22w RMS power and they sound amazing for only $80. Mounting depth is pretty average for a good aftermarket 6.5. I'd recommend these to anybody, they're great! I'm sure it would sound even better with an amp giving the 60w RMS.

Used this for my 08 Evolution GSR, there was plenty of wire to run all 4 channels to each door from the trunk. What to say, I have owned my pioneer deck for 6 months now. Mirror link finally started working this last month, useless. Crappy app that uses poor music player, poor navigation app, etc. I do like the pandora radio, however it won't work with mirror link? Also integrated phone won't work with mirrorlink? Who thought of this? Very dangerous ui. Don't I repeat don't buy it for mirror link. The DVD player is nice, the sound quality is good, support is slow and unfocused, for example three year old or older phones work great with this radio, only late model phones, ie. A year or two old aren't supported. Really, don't support new technology only old? Like I said, don't buy it for the gimmicks. Actually buy something else.

I can't complain. I have a nice amplifier with 400 rms at 2 ohms. It is basically maxed.

It sound goooood. No distortion. Can go higher but it is a little bit overkill.

If you can power it with 400~RMS~ it will sound good. I have a closed box. Nothing special. Have had 4 different 12" subs in them and I can tell this one is here to stay. Never buy used! I learned this the hard way.

I had purchased an NVX XAPK1D for a previous project car and for my Jeep I went with the NVX XKIT44 for my JAD800.4. These kits are the real deal and are very high quality. You get proper wire gauge copper wire that's not 50% insulation like the cheap stuff. It's copper too, not CCA, which I've had with lesser kits. The power and ground wire is super flexible for the size and having the 2 RCA's in a single wire makes it nice a clean to install. I love these NVX kits. This will not be my last.

Pioneer 12" Champion DV Sub

I needed to add the Lower End to my System. I've never been satisfied with the Deepness of 10" Subs. They're great for Punch, but not as satisfying in the Deepest Bass. When I received the Pioneer 12" my first impression was disappointment. After tapping on the Cone to hear the Free Air Resonance, I didn't think It was going to reach deep enough into the Bass. I also discovered (after I had drilled the Mounting Holes) that the Mounting Holes were not perfectly Symetrically Spaced. Because the Speaker was Upside Down when I drilled the Holes, I had to mount it Upside Down for the Screws and Holes to Line Up. (Hint - Make sure the Speaker is Exactly Positioned as you want it before drilling.) After mounting and hooking up this Sub to a Kicker 300 Watt Amp, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it do a fair job of reproducing Deep Bass, it has Punch I never expected. I think there are better subs for the Deepest of Bass, but if you're looking for a Compromise between the sound of a great 12" and that of a great 10", then this is a good fit.

I recently received this subwoofer and it is incredible! I have it aired to an alpine mrp-m500 class d amp pushing 500 watts at 2 ohms in a sealed box. It is better than anything I have ever heard. Even my friend says it sounds great and he is very picky about car audio. In a sealed box this subwoofer will hit lows cleanly and clearly, the best part is they those lows are still very loud you can feel them vibrating the back of your seat. Even in the front seat. I would strongly recommend this subwoofer to anyone that wants a flawless sounding setup for years.

These speakers though small pack a good punch and sound amazing. They can get very loud with with the right deck. I do not have a stock radio however these speakers can handle a lot and are well worth the money. i have spent much more money on far worse speakers. i have to say if i was going to buy speakers again i would get these. the only downside to these speakers which i did not mind at all was the size of the magnet on the back of the speaker. (2x normal size) the magnet was to big to fit in the space designed from the manufacturer to hold the stock speaker. i had to do heavy modifying by cutting the plastic molding of my door. (98 civic) not a big deal to me now that i know how amazing these sound. dont let that keep you from buying these speakers a bigger magnet helps with better sound in my opinion. you may not run into the same issue i did.

Speakers have great acoustics, amazing highs, and the bass hits hard. The bass is not as projected but its a mid range speakers. Although there's not too much bass, the bass that is there hits hard.They sound 10x better amped. Recommended definitely.

Recently blew both my 12in subs ts-w1207d4 champion series and I honestly loved them, the sound and everything. But, unfortunately they blew which sucked. So I went on the journey to find 2 new 12in subs to match the power of my old ones. Then I found these with a amazing price and good wattage for peak to match my 2000watt amp. So, these came in and was not disappointed put them in instantly to my box for my 1999 chevy Silverado and damn do they destroy everything. If I crack my windows and turn them on full blast they will start ripping paper. Already pulled over for them but they are amazing for a reasonable price !

pioneer ts-d160 best 6 1/2 in. in class

high quality 2 way full range speakers. fits perfectly in a 97 wrangler roll bar. use caution not to let terminal short in the cutout. these worked great with kenwood kdc-x998.even better with a 50 rms watt 4ch amp. to me these sound a lot better than the kicker 40cs654 6 1/2in. speaker with 100 rms watt 4ch.amp. not shure if the pioneers are as loud, have not tried on larger amp yet. have no cons. I would recommend this speakers. and sonic electronix.

Got this bundled in a deal with my NVX XAD41 amp, and couldn’t be happier.

The wire is ultra flexible and seems over sized, I used NVX brand wire ferrules for a cleaner look and good connection at all points where I would otherwise had a bare wire connection.

I really love the fuse holder, just be sure if you are installing sideways like say on a fender well you mount it with the side screws for the power wire facing where it’s easiest to access. I mounted mine to the fender with liquid nails LN-2000 and two #8 x 1/2 stainless steel screws after double checking it wouldn’t interfere with hood structure or anything else and drilling a pilot hole for the screws.

The RCA and speaker wire is excellent too though I made the mistake of running my RCAs along the door channel next to my new speaker wire runs which are amplified (100w RMS) and so introduced some noise until I moved them, not a lot but I had to turn down my amps gain to avoid some hiss. So if you for some reason can’t run them under the carpet you may want to order some RCA cables with say Mylar shielding.

I really recommend you get the install bay firewall grommets for this size just in case, they are absolute life savers. My best option was to run powerwire though the passenger floorboards firewall and they make me confident that I will have zero water intrusion.

Incredible for the Money!!!

OK, first off I've been building systems and working and PLAYING in this industry for 25 years (I worked at Phoenix Gold and even Best Buy during X-mas). I competed in IASCA in the 90's and did very well. I have heard them all, and tried them all. "Pioneer" was always a brand we "Golden Ear" crowd sneered at. NOT ANYMORE.

I had a set of Pioneer TS-D6902R (6x9's in a small carpeted enclosure) a friend gave me a couple years ago I actually was using as my surround channels in my home theater and I always noticed they sounded incredible and were, so far, the only sourrounds my 150 watt X 6 Yamaha hadn't fried (I have a grave-yard of blown surrounds).

Anyway, I recently bought a new (but used) run-about for myself, a Mazda Protege and decided to put a modest system in it (nothing like the "old days", I'm already losing hearing). To save money, I bought everything used off of Craig's list. $250 later and it is ANYTHING BUT MODEST!!!!!

I put the 6x9's in the rear-deck as that was the stock size and went out and bought a set of Alpine Type S 6.5" coaxials for the front doors as I recalled from the past Alpine makes a good speaker. I have an Alpine T-220 (50 watts X 2) driving my front speakers, a Fosgate Prime 150.2 (50 watts X 2) driving the 6x9's, and a Sony 400 watt amp driving a pair of MTX 12" 8000's in a ported enclosure (and an Alpine CDA-105 HU). Yeah, $250 for everything on CR, except the 6x9's which I already owned.

Anyway, I was REALLY disapointed with the SQ of the Alpine speakers. They sounded shrill to me and HORRIBLY underpowered (I just couldn't get any decent midbass out of them). By comparison, the Pioneer 6x9's in the rear-deck sounded so much "richer" and more detailed.

Sooooo I replaced the Alpine's in the front door's with these speakers and all I can say is WOW!!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The clarity and high's are so detailed, it's like I'm listening to a set of $1000 component speakers. And the mid-bass is really amazing. WITHOUT A DOUBT, the most midbass I have ever heard from a set of coaxials and arguably the same (or more) midbass than a set of Alpine Type R 6.5" component speakers I owned 8 years ago. When the kick-drum kicks, it kicks you in the legs!!! The midbass "hole" that was present with the Alpine speakers is GONE.

I really can't praise these high enough given their price. They are TRULY like $500+ component speakers in every way. They sounded good even driven off only my 18 watt ALpine HU, but if you really want them to sing, give them at least 50 watts each. I listen to ALL kinds of music and they do everything well. You will not be disapointed, I promise. Speakers are all about trade-offs, but I swear these do EVERYTHING WELL!!!!!

I was on the fence about buying something other than JL amps. I have a HD600/4 and a 750/1 in my F150. I have no clue why I wasted JL money on my truck. The sub channel is a little lacking for the speaker I picked - my fault not the amp. I went with one of the NVX 12's rated at 800+ RMS so it could have gotten more power. For what I have in this system it sounds amazing and I didn't pay JL HD amp prices and it came with a bass control knob that JL sells separate.

I am sold on NVX now and I have the $$ to buy whatever I want. Total system was right at $1070 for this amp, Kenwood receiver, 2 sets Polk MM's, amp wire, and 12 w/box.

Don't hesitate to get this amp!!

i had this in the belva ported box from sonic and the fli acid mono block amp 1200 watt. the amp said it was 600watt rms at 2ohm. it was bumping for what it was. i had alot of people ask if it was a 15 or 2 12s. it was prob more the box. i pushed the sub for about 2 months and then sold it. the surround on the sub turned white.... but ppl say it is normal. great dual 4 ohm sub for the money. esp if your on a budget. i got the box amp and sub for less then 215. if you had to get wires less then 250 for a good set up. the install bay 4gauge kit is great. ive used it 2x now. buy it. its super easy to run it down to 2 ohm

Love this deck so far

Have been using this deck for a few days after installing and, and it has been great.

1) Bluetooth audio streaming works great (using Spotify from my Nexus 5 phone)
2) Bluetooth hands free calling works great (receiving and making calls). The voice activated prompts work to make a call, but there are too many. Clarity is good according to the people I have talked to. I mounted the Mic on top of the steering Column.
3) USB and CD player work, and quick enough to load.
4) Radio works, but quality is not great. Not sure if this is a problem with the unit or a problem with the input adapter.
5) Touchscreen is pretty good. Menu's are mostly easy to navigate, but organization can be a bit better. (Save Settings in the middle of the menus, bass boost at the bottom!)
6) Excellent customization for the audio setup. I haven't had time to tune my audio system, but looking forward to that.
7) Steering wheel input controls work perfectly.

Hits hard!

I bought a combo set consisting of a Sony Xplod sub and amp that put out around 300RMS about a year and a half ago. I found out, for whatever reason, that my sub would not hit hard or at all below freezing. I live in MD, and last winter was a brutal, quiet winter for me. So I decided to upgrade before it got cold this winter. Boy what an improvement! This thing bumps! I was holding off to write the review until temps dropped, and today it was 14 degrees out and hit hard! The construction and build quality feels tough, and the magnet seems very large for the size of the sub, although part of that could be the plastic cover over the magnet. Either way, this 400 watt RMS sub completely destroys my "introductory" sub kit, and was deff a steal.

I purchased a set of these to replace my factory Bose speakers and man oh man was I astounded. These speakers will fulfill your audiophile needs and are worth every penny!

Quality amp, don't pay attention to the test numbers. They only work on the bench. The factory numbers are still a bit high as it was tested at over volt.

An alternator only puts out MAX 14.2VDC and only at high load. a charged battery is only charged at 13.8VDC.
Expect a bit less than factory spec. The amp is plenty loud for me, I a teen I would shoot at the range w/o ear protection, as an old installer a put in and tuned many loud stereos. No more. Moderate clean and pland plenty of undistorted sound is in here. Look no farther this is it

Class D is the future of car audio..

All of the many amps I owned before the NVX were class A/B and some had a class D sub channel, the JAD900.5 is the first full-range class D amp I have used and I have no regrets, the amp is very musical and the power is linear, it just keeps getting louder but doesn't lose any clarity. I have two of these amps, one in a Thunderbird and One in a Supercrew F-150. Both sound great, and I have had zero issues with either, the one in the T-Bird has been used daily for over a year now. They are surprisingly small for how much power they deliver. I do not really care for the gauge adapter for the power and grounds however it has never gotten loose or anything on me either so it works. Because of this amp I have since tried other NVX products and have been happy with everything that has the NVX name on it, I have used a bit of everything from the sound deadener, install kits, fuse holders, amps, subs, etc. This amp stays nice and cool, has only ever gotten luke warm for me.

The amp worked fantastic for several months until it stopped working. There was a bad fuse but something took out the amp when it blew the fuse. I thought the amp had safety's built in to stop this kind of thing but they didn't work. We did purchase another amp same one and installed it and so far it works great again. I need to find a place to get the first one repaired if possible.

Bought this amp on faith of reviews. Really cheap for what you get in terms of sheer power and SQ. Pushes my Sony 3 way components and Alpine truck box loaded 10" ported woofer.

Well worth the money

Bought it for Christmas for my daughter's 1992 Camaro. I wanted one amp due to special constraints and it's worth every penny. I'm using Phoenix gold mid grade series(I can't remember the model numbers) for 6x9's and 4x6's on a 2 ohm load pushing 50 watts rms to each of those, which is plenty actually with the proper tuning. for the sub I've got it turned all the way up powering a Image Dynamics IDQ10 at 2 ohm with a properly spec'd 1.6 net cubit foot box ported and tuned down to 28hz and it CRUSHES with this amp. The power is relentless, it doesn't quit, and no matter what volume level-low or high, it's clean, nothing muddy or lost. The bass knob is a good feature that gives you more range when you're listening to different types of music, you don't always need it thumping. The mids and highs are well delivered. I'm not maxing out those channels because the speakers aren't rated for it, so I'm in the upper half of the power range and they sound very good with the amount of power delivered to them. This amp runs cool for hours at a time.

Now the cons. The amp doesn't have the best crossover setting points, they could be better. It's just that the settings are widespread and you have to be very slow to adjust it. All in all, I'd recommend.

Affordable perfection

I was surprised and how small of a footprint this makes. Loved that it came with adapters for zero to four gauge. I have had this installed since Christmas Eve. It has worked flawlessly. Was a little sensitive to dial in the gain properly, but take your time and it’s all good. The only thing I would have liked to seen on this amp. Was that it was slightly raised from the mounting points. The bottom is all flush so if you don’t use standoff’s it has to airflow to the bottom of the amp. Can’t speak on durability since it’s only been a few months.

Pleasantly Surprised

I got this based on reviews I have read on here. Front and rear channels are powerful as a mofo. The sub channel will push any sub with an RMS of 250-400. Nice clean sound. The only thing I would change is the crossovers. It is real hard to dial in. Other than that a steal at 214 bucks. I have it in a 06 Civic sedan on 4 NVX 6.5 coaxials and a MDX 12 in a 2.40bx tuned to I think 38 or so. I really loves the lows. Hits nice between 28-40. I am a new believer in these digital amps. I'm a 40yr old bass head from the days of pioneer IMPP 12s and Kicker Impulse cheater amps. Shout out to the 90s.

This is my second 900.5 for a second vehicle and it's also paired with an audio control LC7. It's in a GM vehicle and runs a Polk audio component set and rear coax, along with a 10 inch kicker sub. This is a good price point for what you get. I'm still fine tuning and compared to my first set up with different Focal speakers, it still plays clear and fairly loud. There seems to be a very narrow sweet spot with the gains and crossover so I'd recommend being patient. I've been tuning for about a month now and still among fine adjustments.

Sub is a kicker 12 shallow mount at two ohms and is rated at 500w rms. Don't think about just get it!

To be honest, I have been out of the Car Audio game for 10 years, and at that time the thought of a clean sounding full range class D amplifier was a pipe dream. When jumping back in to Car Audio and desiring to put a clean sounding audio system in my truck, yet keep it fairly affordable and compact, I was VERY skeptical to give this amp a shot. My bias told me no way could a full range class D sound as good as the Class A/B or Class A amps I have experienced in the past. I decided to look past my bias and give this amp a shot.

When it came in I was stunned by how compact it was! I am used to big Class A/B amps, which at this power rating would be 22 inches long. Hell my last run with Class D mono blocks were all 15 plus inches. It's compactness meant I would have no problem with placement in my Tundra Pick Up.

I was also surprised by all the settings I could use, as I had only 4 pre-outs on my deck (A budget friendly Pioneer AVH-280BT), I was ecstatic to find that I could run either a internal crossover for the sub channel, or use a the rear pre-outs on my deck to run the subwoofer, and use a sum setting to run the front rca's to power the Front and Rear speaker outputs of the amp. Definitely was not expecting that to be found in a Amp in this price range.

Finally it came time to hook up the amp. Wow! Nice clean power that make Guitars, Bass Drums all just sound like they are suppose to! So happy I took the chance on this amp.

If your looking for a great sounding, powerful 5 Channel amp this is the one for you. I just wish they made a Marine version of this amp, so I can put one in my boat!

I have a 309S4 in my wifes car and one im my step daughters car. I had two of the 309D4 in my metro. They really impressed me. This amp has exceeded my expectations. I installed this in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Wrangler are notorious for horrible sound. This amp has fixed that. Clean signal

The 4 channel part of the amp is clean and clear. Running it with JL FiX 86 and focal 6.5" 3 way components. Problem is that the sub portion of the amp cannot keep up with the mids and highs. Had to use an arc audio mono sub amp (600 watts rms) and it still isn't enough for the mids and highs. Bottom line, great clean amp for mids and highs, but not enough on the subwoofer to keep up.

Good platform, but requires some attention

The NVX certainly can produce tons of raw power, but there is more to audio than just power. The amp utilizes the oldest and cheapest audio op-amps (TL072) which suffers from poor audio and even phase reversal. I have upgraded mine to Burr-Brown OPA-1642 op-amps and replaced the super cheap signal chain electrolytic caps with SILMIC II and the amp performs with specs that rivals audiophile.

Phenomenal Amplifier

I've now used this specific amplifier twice and it still does not cease to surprise me with it's output and clarity while not being large or flashy like other brands. Once in a Jeep wrangler and another in a C5 Corvette.

Other than the layout of the dials not being labeled in a way that makes complete sense(the top row of dials belongs to the subwoofer channel fyi) it is a fantastic amp. Drives the speakers with no trouble at all and the subwoofer as well. Clarity is as expected from these amps is this is my fourth NVX amp purchase.

It's also not very physically large in an industry where somehow ockford-ray osgate-fay makes gigantic amps that produce the same power as this NVX with what seems to be all the same features honestly and protections. 10/10 would do again.

Put this in my 2001 ram to power the 6x9s in the doors and the 6.5 in the rear with a shallow mount 12 and I have to say I'm very impressed with the sounds quality. Clear loud and powerful and very space saving. The only thing I dont like is the initial speaker pop when its started. Other than that though its a solid high quality amp

This amp really sounds good. Have it pushing 2 sets of component speakers in 4 doors and a 10" sub. After setting up, system is very balanced and clean. Nice and small, installed behind rear cargo trim, stays nice and cool. The only thing that would have been nice is a 10x multiplier switch to run 4 channels active.

I have been jamming this amp for a month with no problems at all. It is plenty loud for the main speakers and very solid on the subwoofer. I've been running it around 80%+ max. Warms up but does not run hot. Controls are very easy to adjust and very well laid out. I was skeptical about buying a 5-channel amp vs. 2 separate amps (4-channel & 1-channel) but I wanted a slimmed down installation as opposed to the 2 separates I had previously (cheaper too). I love the layout of this unit,its easy to access the settings and inputs,but the biggest reason i bought this was because Pioneer rates this head unit as being one of the top units that are compatible with the android smart phones,i made sure my phone was on the list and it was supposed to do allot of what an iphone can do,but it won't. I had a samsung s3 some things worked but not even 20% it was time for a phone upgrade so i got a LG G3,it was more compatible then the s3 but i found out it wasn't a match for mirrorlink which is supposed to wireless connect my phone to the radio and be able do any commands that by smart phone including adding the phone keyboard,both of these phones had android 4.4 and i updated the lg to the new 5.0,no mater what i would try do, it seems the only thing i could do is basic bluetooth stuff i even bought a MHL adaptor because i read some were that a direct connection would allow the head unit to see and do everything the smart phone could do.WRONG.I gave my wife my lg and got her upgrade phone just a couple of weeks ago,which is a Samsung Galaxy note 5 edge,which is supposed to be the latest and greatest,it works better the other phones but there is still allot of stuff it won't do that this radio should do.I think that Pioneer and several other car electronics manufactures are WAYYYYY behind when it comes to android compatibility,thy have focused on iphones and haven't given a dam about android until now ,since android is now way out selling iphone or the windows operation phones,but with me i am going to be looking at something that actually does what it supposed to do,some of the Chinese unit offer so much more and are top notch in quility beside most of the stuff we buy here in the USA are made there anyway.

Good amp for the $

Small footprint. Running 2 300rms earthquake 10" subs and they hit hard. I have two sets of 100rms Fosgate 6.5 component sets running off the other channels and the amp gives them all they want. Bass knob works well and amp has never been warm.

I am impressed but there is some background noise at low volume levels. My radio has 2 sets of pre-outs and I would recommend a radio with 3 sets as I feel sharing the outputs has induced some feedback and reduced volume levels.

If you are looking for a value priced 5 channel. You can't go wrong in my opinion.

Favorite Amp Ever Owned

I'm very much in love with this amp. As a 5 channel amp it runs my entire system consisting of an active 2 way front stage and single 15" sub mounted trunk baffle / infinite baffle in my sedan. It pumps out gobs of power on all channels, is super flexible to hook up, comes in a tiny package that's easy to hide, doesn't get more than warm even after hours of reference level listening and is super efficient. In short: this amp is perfect.
You absolutely cannot beat the value of this amp, you'd have to spend double or more to even come anywhere close to its performance.
I've had it for a few months now and also installed one in my brother's car, he also loves it.
The only down side I should mention is the supplied sub channel remote, it's flimsy and not progressive at all. Just throw it away and order the Scosche EFX RLC, it's easier to dose and feels way more solid.

Good solid starting point

Pro's: For it's size, it is a stellar performer. Clearly can provide it's claimed power rating and then some.

Con's: Chinese assembled. Solder quality fair. Amplifier preamp section would greatly benefit with TI's recommended op-amp, and ELNA SILMIC II's in the signal path.

I would recommend it for it's price.

I purchased this for my girlfriends 96 ford explorer. I am using this as a 5 channel, powering some 5.25 Morel speakers up front and JVC 5x7 in back. The sub is a craigslist special, a fosgate P2 10" in a seald box. The head unit is a Kenwood, and i am using all active cross overs from the Kenwood ( I dont have any of this in front of me, so i dont know the model numbers ) this whole set up sounds great!!

The NVX amp has some awesome features. You can use the x over network to run a active front stage. So channels 1 and 2 for the mids, setting the x over in a band pass setting.... And channels 3 and 4 for the tweets, running high passed. And you still have the sub channel.

they sound great ...crisp and clean but wont take rated power for very long....but will handle 75% of rated all day built in crossover for the mid and tweet...i recommend installing these with speaker baffles either the foam ones or the plastic ones...that will increase the sound clearity

Definitely Recomend

For the price i would definitely recommend this product. They aren't contest winning subs but when put with a decent amp they sound great and pound pretty well especially for the price. I have owned them for about 9 months now and haven't had any problems so far. if you need a good reliable sub for a decent price i would recommend these.

This sub has a great sound. Brings in lower frequencies with great clarity. It is air space hungry wanting 1.24 cubic feet but sounds fantastic with 1.02 I could provide. It is highly efficient at 96 DB sensitivity and 2ohm capable if you want to run it solo. Running just one and it will literally shake the hair on your head. Great buy and frat product!!!

Great replacement

Bought this to replace my polk audio dxi112. Put this sun in the box with the original mounting spacer from the old one and it sounded terrible.. I got rid of the spacer and installed the sub flush with new screws and this result was phenomenal. This sub kicks really nice and has great lows.. Not too much distortion or cracks.. Highly recommend.

Great sub at a great price. This sub sounds great at every level of bass. Hits hard and does not distort at high volumes. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Beyond expectations

I previously owned the 309s4's they are the single voice coil 12 in woofers, they pounded every time i turned the car on, pounded like no tomorrow but then one died, so i check out the new line and see the 310s4's and they are about the same price... but i scroll further and see that the dual coils are the same exact price so i went out on a limb and bought them.. something i don't regularly do, and god damn was i impressed!!! the d4's have such deep and clear lows and crisp and clear high's its just unbelievable... i wouldn't look any farther if you want the best bang for your buck... these are on the highest end of quality for the price!!!!

Great sound

Had this sub for about a month and it's freakin loud! Love to get it ported to be louder and lower but pioneer recommended this sub for sealed which is good since I need the space but it's still pretty big. Overall, great sub for the price. Can't wait til I get the pioneer AVH x3500bht put in to enhance the sq.

nice but WEAK bluetooth

this head unit does have a lot of features. the EQ is a wider range than others in this price unit making it more user tunable per their own ears. i dont expect HDMI from a unit in this price range but the mirrorlink is completely USELESS. it doesnt work for 95% of phones. they dont update the software. thats one thing pioneer is lousy at, software. my biggest gripe is the bluetooth. modern bluetooth chips reach up to 30 feet. this thing cuts out if you step outside of your door with your phone in your pocket. it also skips when playing via bluetooth. sometimes it doesnt do it for an hour roadtrip, and other times it will do it 4-5 times per minute. it is extremely annoying. i dont know if they are using cheap chinese bluetooth chips or what but it needs to improve. this will be my last pioneer product. i will be switching to kenwood where you can pay $100 more and get HDMI and functional bluetooth.... i would not recommend this to anyone who uses bluetooth streaming. if youre a aux person, this is an excellent option

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

All I can say is WOW! Words can't describe! These TS-W310D4's are UNBELIEVABLE! Freakin LOUD! Excellent LOW's to even a tight punchy bass and everything in between! Installed 2 in a custom 1.5cf per sub sealed box, paired up to a Pioneer GM-D8601 mono amp wired to 1ohm load "SERIOUSLY ALL YOU NEED". I used to be a KICKER only fan as I had the old school L5 12" solo-baric and just wanted to expand & try something new. It CAN'T compare to these subs, especially for the money! I've been in and out of car audio for 25yrs and the only system I can even campare these subs to are the (2) 15 Kicker Comps I had paired to a Coustic 660 amp over 20yrs ago! I'm IMPRESSED beyond measure with these subs and have quickly become a PIONEER fan! If your lookin for an excellent sub at a great price you can't go wrong with the TS-W310D4's!!!! Now I gota re-do and amp up the rest of my system as the bass just drowns out my mids and highs! But thats a good problem to have!

Loud and clean

I decided to upgrade the stock stereo in our Toyota Highlander. These speakers offer incredible sound and are reasonably priced. Just make sure you get the appropriate adapter for the Highlander. I would definitely purchase again.

Great for a jeep build

This amp was perfect in size and ran a full sound system in a Jeep wrangler. Components on front stage, coaxials for overhead rear, and 5th channel powered a kicker 6.75 sub in center console. Amp performed great and had the Jeep sounding clear and strong. Would by again if needed to in future!

outstanding no matter the price

Paid 70 a pair for 2 pair. Strong bass when amped. I have hpf set at 75, subs up to 100. A little tinkering with the equalizer and bass thumps , strong mids and clear highs. 60 watt speaker. I've had louder, but I can still make my ears ring.

I have four of these speakers in my 2001 Jetta and they sound great!!!
The voice sound natural and clear.
The highs and bass are extremely good.
