3rd genTacoma folks....listen

So with the Tacoma..we must run limited options that are mostly shallow in the crew cab 4 door. So what I did was got 12 sub box..most average 5.6-5.8 mounting depths. With this rings installed it opens the door to regular 12" subs that will fit the air space. Have full sized tropo 12"s currently experimenting. To get away with subs not touching seats. We added .5 stainless spacers from Lowe's and .24" worth washers on the top latches. This allow subs to not contact back of seats. The seats close and lock correctly. We used my son in back seat to guage leg room and he said he didn't notice space being shorter. Experimenting with sub choices for 12" small space..but its nice not having to use just shallows. Big full size are back on the table.
