5x7/6x8 speaker baffles

I got these baffles for my 2007 crown Victoria. These cars have a big trunk space with the small 6x8 factory speakers in the rear deck. I placed these in and a set of Alpine type R speakers in it. I had to modify the baffles just a little since the Alpines are oversized speakers by just a little. I also placed some poly fill in the baffle. Then the speakers were amped and there is an 80 percent improvement in the sound that comes from the rear of the car.
These baffles did not work in the front door because of where the window was. Had they been placed in the front door the window would hit the baffle as it went up and down.
These baffles are a great way to improve your sound in the car or truck without spending the time or money to make a fiberglass one.
I am go being these baffles 4/5 stars for features and design since they are almost universal for all applications. Again these are a great solution to improve your sound in cars and trucks where the speakers are in big spaces.

Protect the speakers!!

I didn't notice a big difference, maybe a little less bass... I got them just to block it from getting dirty any ways. Old stock speakers were dirty like they got wet so I got 2 pares of these Foam Speaker Baffles.

good but not great!

They work great to keep the back of your speakers clean, but they don't do much for sound enhancement. They may bump up the bass a little bit, but not much. Some custom trimming may be required for clearance purposes with the front speakers in the door and the window.

Highly needed

I Bought these for my infinity kappa prefect 600's as they are not cheap and I wanted protect them. They also help keep the good coming into the car instead of the door. Be sure to cut a small hole in the bottom where you run the wires into as it will help with sound.
