2007 Honda Civic Sedan

I added these baffles to improve the bass response of my Polk dXi650, installed on my hat deck. Not only did they improve the sound; they improved the visual appearance from the truck. Also, when putting things in the truck, you will bump into the baffle first, rather than straight into your treasured speaker! Good addition, decent improvement in sound, good protection, easy install from top between speaker and deck.

Big difference

I will never install aftermarket door speakers again without this product! It a night and day difference it's like installing a subwoofer with out a box!

These are HUGE

I am running alpine type R so I figured they would probably need a larger baffle. Well when I saw these I knew I had Guessed wrong. I think these are bigger than any high quality 6.5 sub i have ever seen let alone standard 6.5s. Be very carefull when ordering. I am currently using these for my rear deck adn they work well. However if you are looking to use these in you doors or side wall speakers they will be way too BIG.

Quality Product!

This is a must for vehicles that have issues with water trickling down the window sills and splashing the back of your speakers. From past experience I had issues with water damage but now that I purchased these baffles, my speakers are dry and will last a lifetime!

Beware, may not be right for you

The intention was to protect my midbass from water and the product would do that well. But it killed the bass response, like if mthe speaker was chocked and no air to move. End up cutting the bottom part for ventilation and leaving the top to protect water coming down from the window.

nice for in doors

i bought them just for in the doors of my truck so i wouldnt get a tiny sound and they work awsome in doors

Did not do anything for the sound quality of the 6.5 in my ranger. Does do the job of protecting the speakers from dust and rain. No high end applications.

I must say I'm impressed with the quality of these baffles,they keep any possible elements off of your speakers and improved my SQ along with the help of the rest of my door treatments. Some applications/speakers may require you to cut a hole for the speaker to breath other than a small wiring hole. Very east to cut,they're foam. so yeah.

Protect your speakers!

I purchased this product to keep my Hertz 165XL speakers dry. The inside of a door cavity in a car is a nasty environment . I'm not convinced this product made my speakers sound any better but for the money you can't lose. Works great.
