Great Amp!

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I just finished installing one of these amps in an '89 Porshe Carrera...wow! I still am in disbelief how this tiny amp pushed 2 sets of JBL components.. This car screamed and my customer was extremely happy with his purchase. I have been installing for over 14 years professionally and still can't believe this little amp did what it did..10 gauge wire is recommended but I managed to install it with 8 gauge... I could see the amp running hot if the wire run is long using 10 gauge. For future purchasers, buy 8 gauge wire if your run is longer than 10 ft.

good while it lasted

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

The amp made my speakers (Prime6x8) sound like they were top of the line. i had this amp hooked up for about 14 days until all of a sudden no sound would come through my speakers anymore just a buzzing noise the amp would turn on but no sound all cables were fine.

I installed this into my motorcyle fairing pushing 4 - 51/4. What a difference. Now I can hear it over my loud pipes!

Nice little amp.

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Amp has a really small footprint. The amp I have is putting out 87 watts per channel making for a total of 348 watts. I don't need the gain turned up past 3 in order to make my ears ring. I have it hooked up to two Pioneer 4x6 speakers and two Pioneer 6x9 speakers and it rocks them all day and all night.

I had my entire stereo professionally installed and I don't have any problems with it.

Great little package

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I was very unsure whether or not to get this amplifier based on the mixed reviews but I did anyway. It has now been 6 months and not a moments trouble. To tell you the truth the size and sound reminds me of the old punch 75 amps. Great sound from a small package. I would definitely not hesitate to purchase this again.

Great little amp

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This little amp in combination with a good set of speakers is well worth the money. I mounted it in my fairing of my motorcycle. It easily powers two six inch rounds up front, and two 6x9's in the bags. It sounds great without any distortion. Installation was simple and quick. I would definitely recommend this amp.

Good strong power

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Good amp for bikes just can't turn it up all the way hurts my ears.
High distortion but that it due to the Harley deck that has .5thd where I'm used to like .001 THD. I am sure if Harley made a radio with low inputs it would be cleaner sound. All that said I would buy this amp again for any bike hi or low inputs as I always been fond of Fosgate

Great little amp!

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I got this for my husband for the holidays. It is small and compact and can be easily hidden within the vehicle. It can get a little warm but he has not expierenced any issues, if you are worried you can always mount it near/ with a cooling fan. He is very pleased with this little amp. It packs a punch.

Good amp, bad experience

The following review is for PBR500X1, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I purchased the Rockford Fosgate PBR500X1 in november of 2013. It functioned properly with the Rockford Fosgate P3S-1X12 subwoofer for about 1 month, then it began to mysteriously shut off. Now, this amp was recommended by SonicElectronix on the bio of the subwoofer, but come to find out that the subwoofer was not correctly cooling itself or letting the amp cool down either. All wiring was done in recommended 10 gauge with 35A fuse with the Kicker amp kit I purchased as well. I am now in the market for the Rockford Fosgate R500X1D amplifier to not run at 1 ohms but at 4 ohms to help cooling with it not only being D class but at a lower wattage for the subwoofer to still kick but to stay cool. Overall, good amp, just I don't believe that class BR is good for any sub over 8-10".

shaking my head lmao damn...

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

well kicker has always been a well known brand and made loud efficient subs but me and my girl had purchased 3 of these cvr 12's and have them running on a hifonics zues 2400.1D at 2ohm and they sound super weak mind u I have them set at 2ohms at the amp; is the amp is pulling half its power but still they should bang like the old cvr's. I had recently bought 3 hifonics Hercules and had them running at 0.67 ohm at the amp subs ran in parallel. and they banged but eventually they blew after only 2 weeks of running them here and there they literally were smoking lol.instead of upgrading to the cvr 12's I should've went w the new hifonics brutus subs they prolly would've sounded way better than these kickers horrible im disappointed really ima put them at 1/2 ohm and see if they pound a little better and can handle that zues amp or their goin back...I guess what im saying is if ur gonna ever go w a kicker sub id recommend the solo baric L7 they have always quaked.!!

Better Than Expected

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I saw these subs a while ago but looked at the specs and didn't want to purchase them. My audio guy recommended them to me so I decided to give them a shot. I have them in a custom box in a Caddy truck and they quake. Good, clean, bass. Reliable subs, no complaints here. I'm not sure of the wattage handling because I'm not using for competition purposes but I've ridden 3 hours blasting them with no probs.

good sounding subwoofers!

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

These subs are nice looking I have a 03 Buick century. Furthermore these subwoofers hit hard most people say that you cant have good sound quality with kicker subwoofers however you can it is all in the control settings of the headunit and the amp whatever you do try to keep your gain as low as possible and bass at reasonable level and you will do just fine kicker cvx can take high excursion and most important hits very hard

Killer amp, super small form factor

The following review is for PBR500X1, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This amp is an amazing performer. Birth sheet says it puts out almost 600watts rms at 1ohm. It definitely pulls current. Pushes my kicker L7 at 1ohm and does not drop out. It does run hot at 1ohm, so you might need cooling. Because of the heat, I question it's durability.

Mixed feelings

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This is hands down a superb amp for the cost. I run four 6.5 kicker speakers on it. Never distorts, gets real loud. The only thing I hate is the inputs. They are inconvenient and it's easy to pull out. Keep this in mind when you purchase this amp. Also it tends to hog all the power from my sub when I turn it up. Might need a cap to fix this. Very satisfied with the output and functionality.

Never worked

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I had originally purchased this amp to have a matching system for my car. I had the amp installed into my car and about two weeks later it went into protect mode and would not come out of it. So I had sent it back and got it replaced with my warranty. After receiving my new one in the mail I had immediately installed it into my car and I got no sound what so ever. It never worked right out of the box and it felt like it was on fire. I would not recommend this amp for anything. If you need a small amp for your bike or car system I would recommend you look somewhere else rather than this product.

Worth the extra $$$

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have owned 2 of these 12" cvrs for almost a year now and they continue to impress me and my friends. I have had no problems with the subs whatsoever, they are hooked up to an 850 mono block amp and that pushes them just fine. I have even had a small dent on one of the subs and it hasn't effected the production of hard hitting bass that anyone taking the time to read this would find awesome. Overall there's a reason they are called Kickers.

i used to like kicker until i owned two of these...

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I used to be a kicker fan i thought kicker were decent. My friend had two of the previous model cvr's and they hit hard so i figured the newer model would be as good. I was wrong. Let me start by saying yes i have them running off 500 watts rms a piece but i have the amp cut down and within a minute they start getting really hot and smell awful and they hit nowhere near as hard as the previous model if i knew i would have used the money i spent on these and got a set of type r's or the new type s's for the same price or cheaper. People if you want cvr's get the previous model (the ones with the silver cone) ill never buy kicker again.

This lil rocker realy pumps!!

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I AM SIMPLY AMAZED!! This lil dynamo can really pump up the volume!! So I installed this in a 2012 Pathfinder and it fits neatly under the passenger seat with lots of air space around it. I hooked it up after the stock radio out to Rockford 6x9 T1-Power in the front doors and 6.5 in the rear doors. It really drives these speakers well. I am sold on these lil buggers. I read that adequate air flow is crucial. So keep that in mind. I'll probably put a set in my 2012 Sonata soon. (Bi-amped and pumped too by Rockford.) Oh and the ability to go straight in on hi-level speaker inputs really sold me too.

The PERFECT amp for your bike !!

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I recently installed the RF PBR 300X4 amp, along with pair of RF M262 speakers, in the Dead Center fairing of my'02 Harley Road King. So far, the combination is exactly what I was looking for - loud and clear. Other reviews commented on the amp getting hot enough to shut down, but so far it has not been an issue. Hopefully it won't be an issue when it heats up later this summer. I made my own bracket out of aluminum flat stock to mount the amp. The PBR 300X4 was easy to hook up and the volume/tone combinations are endless. I visited several different websites and Sonic Electronix was a no brainer to buy from. Lowest prices and great technical help. A definite piece of advise is to direct wire to your source instead of using the RCA cables. The sound and volume are MUCH better. I have graded Overall and Durability at 4 only because I have only been using them for a couple weeks. Ride safe !!!!

Dissapointed

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Bought this product to have a totally stealth stereo install in my '09 Focus. After having 2 of these amps burn up on me I have to say I am quite dissapointed. I used a 3Sixty.2 sound processor to do all the work for me and when I was just tuning in the front speakers with the rears muted this amp rocked. As soon as I unmuted the rear speakers the amp cut out and just got a constant buzz from all the speakers. I am a former installer and have been installing for over 5 years. The amp was installed correctly but just did not perform.

Works great.

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This is a good little amp. Mine was rated at 84x4 RMS and fits very easily in tight spaces (a big plus for my install). Gets my T1 6.5s and my M28Bs pretty loud. GETS HOT, but has never cut out. Doesn't give you as much room for adjustment like a normal 4channel would but does the job nicely. I ran mine with a 360.2 to get the sound how I wanted.

Great amp

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I finally broke down to upgrade the system in my 98 silverado. Got this, 2 T1S652, and then the T1 4x6's. Compared to my old system this thing screams! Not a ton of room for adjustment, but my head unit lets me get it to where i like it. Great price, talk to a rep to get the best deals possible, i saved a few bucks by buying everything together. The only negative is that this little thing gets hotter than a b******, everything else is great. Very easy to hook up. I only had a little knowleddge of car audio prior to this and had no problems.

Well worth the money I paid. HUGE POWER from a very small package.
Although, I don't recommend running in 2 channel mode as it clips at higher volume levels until it has a chance to warm up. Operating in 4 channel it provides tight, clean mid bass and piercing highs.

Very high quality

The following review is for 12DS, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I purchased this box for a pair of Kicker Solo Classics. The box itself is very well constructed, solid and well sealed. I did further seal it with silicone for peace of mind, including the terminal cups. I used 1/2 lb per chamber of polyfill and mounted the subs. After initial break-in, I can attest that the SQ of this setup is definitely top-tier, one of the best I've ever heard, which is what I was seeking. I have no doubts this box will outlast every other component of my system.

A Bang for your Buck!

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This sub-woofer from Kicker has not failed to impress. I have this particular sub-woofer in a ported box powered by a 1500watt amp, and I must say the sound quality and power is excellent. For a single 12" sub, it sure has great sound output. I have had no problems with it thus far.

Pros: Sound quality, range, output, LOOKS!

Cons: Peak/RMS rating (wish it could handle more)

This sub-woofer is worth the money.

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

As of now I am very satisfied with this amplifier. I placed it in the fairing of my motorcycle(Victory Cross Country) and gained a large amount of crystal clear sound. Definitely worth the money, IMO. Before I used the amp, it was hard to hear or understand the music at 60mph, not though.... I can hear perfect at 90+ with little distortion(wind will always be there). Love the 2 and 4 channel option, but even though its in my fairing wish it was a marine amp just in case.

Great Subwoofer

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have this 12" Kicker in a sealed 1.25 cu. box and the sound, sounds great. The first initial install of the sub sounded weak when trying to go high volume and the bass could not hit any hard. But this was due to not giving this sub a couple days of low volume break in periods. I am using a 300.1 kicker amp and what I can say in my opinion is WOW! I can get low volume full stereo bass and now high volume long bass boom. All in all, I am happy with my purchase! (I can only imagine how much more bass I would get if I had an amp 400 watts or higher...)

Decent entry level subs, good price!

The following review is for 10CVR124, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

These are good, entry level subs. I had a set of the 2007 versions, then upgraded to these when they came out in 2010. 1.2 cubic feet per sub with some acoustic filling in a sealed box sounded great in my 300M, wired to a Kicker KX600.1 amp @ 2ohms. They were getting about 300 watts each, and that suited them just fine. I upgraded to a Hifonics BRX2100.1D amp and a slot ported box to try to get more output, and my friend warned me I was gonna smoke the voicecoils. No way I thought. Turns out he was right. I was bumping loud as heck one day and I noticed it sounded funny. Smelled something burning, pulled over, popped the trunk and sho nuff I had magic smoke pouring from the left speaker. Long story short, run these in a sealed box with moderate power and you'll do fine. Want something much louder, upgrade to CVX's or L7's.

From my previous review about the WOW factor on this 12-inch subwoofer. It still amazes me how much bass still thumps from this subwoofer using my 300.1 kicker amp. From my 2015 review till present (2020), I am still a happy camper for buying kicker subs!!!

Great Set

The following review is for 40CSS654, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I installed the CSS component speakers in the front of my RSX they sound nice and clear with some good bass, Havent ran the tweeters or crossovers yet, Im in the process of wiring up my amp so i can get its full potential. I recommend these to anyone looking for good mids/highs.

Works great on my 2007 Cvo ultra..did away with factory amp..hooked to 6 5 1/2 speakers..has plenty of power and super clear sound..used PC hard drive double fan on top as it does get hot.fit inside batwing just fine.make sure to use 30 amp fuse as it needs it all..

Awesome Amp

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This little amp packs a lot of punch on my Harley sound system. Tucks away in my saddlebags. Powers my speakers perfectly!!

Small but powerful

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Put this on my Motorcycle . Sound is great, clear smooth, no pop when turning on. I’m running 100 watt rms speakers and amp was tested at 89rms -4 and it performed. I can’t turn volume all the way up or my bike starts sounding ghetto with vibration from speakers. It does get warm in my saddle bag but never shut off, so I put a fan on it just to make sure. I was worried about it pulling to many amps, more then my nick could produce but put full load on it to test and it was around 12amps. At a normal level of sound ( one the person a block away can’t hear) around 105 decibel at was at 8 amp. My output was 13 on bike at idle so never going to be an issue. For me anyway!

great amp for harley custom installs.add a couple RF 6x9's and what ever else you can fit in and it leaves other systems (HARLEY,Sound of chrome junk, etc) IN THE DUST! Installing 2nd one on wifes Deluxe as we speak.

Excellent compact amp.

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Great small amp. Since it is so small I was able to tuck it behind the stock head unit in my 2013 Tacoma. I added some Alpine speakers and I was able to dramatically improve the sound quality on a budget. This amp is VERY easy to connect, and it is super small. Great performance for the price.

Small package easy installation

The following review is for PBR300X4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Packs a lot of clean power and a simple install. Especially if you use the recommended 10 gauge power wire. So easy to run and hide the positixe and negative wires for a clean look.

Great enclosure for the money!

The following review is for 12DS, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This box is seriously best bang for your buck! I have 2 brand new Illusion Audio 12's and this enclosure fit the specs perfectly!
Well built and no leaks that I could find. Which was a concern to me because the black sealant used didn't have total coverage in both chambers. Easy fix regardless, but wasn't needed luckily.

Love how the rear has an angle to scoot right up to your rear seats. This is great if you have an SUV or hatchback. And the design is nice and compact. I could still fit 3 large cases of water in the back of my 4runner with this box back there.
