Pioneer AVH-X3600BHS
I purchased this CD player about a month ago and I am very pleased with it. There is only one flaw with it. When you are changing stations on Sirius, you actually have to pre-program the stations and change them that way instead of, simply up and down. Other than that, the CD player is awesome. I would recommend this CD player to anyone to purchase.

Excellent Product
For the price, this radio can not be beat. Sonic gave me a great deal and it arrived quickly. The radio does everything it says it will do in the description. The screen is nice, it's easy to operate and I use almost every feature. DVD, bluetooth, Ipod, Pandora from my Android phone, it does it all. The only issue I would say I have is that when the sun is bright, and I have legal tinted windows, the screen gets washed out from the glare. That's it.

Very Pleased
I bought this stereo to implement a backup camera for my pickup truck and for the bluetooth audio and phone features. I couldn't be more pleased. Consistently connects with my Nokia 521 Windows phone and love the bluetooth audio features. Plays audible audiobooks or music depending what I have listened to last. If you are looking for a good stereo this one fits the bill.

First I have to mention the Customer Service. They were fantastic, friendly and made sure I was getting the best deal.
The stereo is everything they said it was. Sounds great, touch is spot on. and I can do almost anything. Also hooked up the app radio and that worked like it was suppose too!!! Will be buying from Sonic in the future.

It's an excellent radio. I'm considering purchasing one for my second car. I wish that the GPS that goes along with the radio was cheaper.

Good 3 way component for the price
I'm addicted to 3 way component sets, now when I listen to 2 ways it just seems like something's missing, even high end ones. I've had these installed for about a month now. The woofers are in the door, with deadening, and the mid and high in a custom a pillar I built. I am currently only running them off my head unit so I can't say yet how they sound at or near full volume. The woofer I really like, midbass is impressive. The mid is good, it does its job well. The high is a little weird and took some getting used to and I can't really say I'm sold on it yet. I would recommend you listen to this or at least this type of tweeter to make sure it fits your taste. For the price I recommend this set only if you’re ok with how the tweeter sounds. I’m certainly not saying anything bad about the tweeter it’s just a little bit different then I’m used to. Keep in mind all installs are different and no two ears are the exact same, there are a lot of factors that influence sound quality. I listen to all types of music and these speakers handle it all well. The tweeter seems to be missing some of the "symbol crash/glass breaking" clarity, as I'm going to call it, and can be a little bright at times. I had to modify my EQ a little bit in the tweeter range which helped some. I am normally adamant about using a flat EQ, I like my music reproduced accurately and un-modified as the musician intended it to sound. It’s just different then the silk dome tweeters I’m used to. I previously had a JL 3 way component set that that I fell in love with, it really set the bar for me. My next stereo will have the JL 3 way or a Hertz 3 way but these are at least twice the money which I couldn't do on this build. It’s really hard to compete in sound quality with JL and Hertz but this set comes close and is a great value for the price.

Great Sound, Great Power Handling
Fantastic sounding speakers with a great power handling ability. Takes a little work to find best placement for the mid if you don’t already have a setup for 6 speakers but it’s completely worth it! Very crisp highs, very clean mids and a surprisingly great kick from the mid-bass. They say it's stable to 20 Hz but I have mine crossed at 63 and they are rocking!

Install Issues
I own a 2007 Toyota Highlander, I had a single din head unit installed not knowing the installer (Best Buy) took out the oem brackets out and did not return them to me. I upgraded to a Double Din DVD with Sirius XM only to find that I had to repurchase the oem brackets which cost $46 at the dealer. Make sure if you go from a double din factory head unit to a single din, get the factory brackets back in case you want to upgrade to a double din later.

Great deck, terrible remote
Just installed this deck and have been very pleased with it.
My only gripe thus far is the remote that comes with it. It does not do any iPod control other than advancing tracks. The direction pad and enter buttons are for DVD control only, very stupid. Even my 6 year old pioneer single din with allow me to navigate artists/playlists and any other content on my iPod when plugged in. This means you have to use the touch screen which works fine but without tactile buttons you have to take your eye of the road to navigate. I bought this product for blue tooth and hands free calls which I got, but at the trade off for having to use a touch screen for all but the most basic functions.
Fingers crossed a firmware update will resolve this issue.

great sound for money
I have purchased these speakers to replace stock speakers on my vw cc. Speakers arrived pretty fast and installation with appropriate hardware was straight forward. When i purchased these i didn't find a lot of reviews, but when i got and installed them i did not regret about sound quality. These are good speakers for the price. You can always find something better for more money but these perfectly meet my need. Very happy!

Very clean sound, but doesn't like low frequencies
I purchased these components to place in my Subaru BRZ which has factory placement for the door, mid, and tweeters while only using 2 channels off the amp. These took some very simple adapters that I made to go in the factory locations. I am driving them with a RF Punch P400X4 using the supplied passive crossovers. Speaking of the crossovers they are much bigger than expected, so be sure to check the measurements! The speakers are very "alive" and bright sounding with phenomenal clarity. My biggest issue is that if I cross them below 125hz I get a horrific "popping" when near maximum volume with R&B, rap, or similar music with predominant "kick drum" . I confirmed that the popping wasn't due to my amp clipping either. I was disappointed because I am pushing very conservative RMS wattage. They sound terrific but due to the high crossover, you will really want to make sure you have a dedicated subwoofer otherwise the music will sound really empty. Overall I have tuned my system to be able to achieve maximum volume without the popping, but I would have hoped to crossed a little lower for fuller sound. Am I happy with them, yes. Would I have wanted a dedicated 6.5" door speaker to handle a little more on the lower spectrum response? Yes. I would recommend these speakers to someone willing to tinker with settings, otherwise you will may be bummed at the lack of low end response or worse yet, blown speakers.

great setup
this system went above and beyond my expectations.when i first installed they were kinda dull,i went with them for a week, letting them break in.then i went into the crossover and switched the tweeter setting, whooaa.these things came to life.just swapping the setting made these things so much clearer.even though the amt tweeter takes some getting used to,they sound life like.i did get some woofer pop when first installed, set my crossover on my amp to highpass and adjusted down till it went away, for 3 weeks now i have been able to drop the frequancy lower.takes some time to break these in but it is so well worth it.i have owned plenty of great speakers in the past, but never heard anything like this.every day i notice different things in songs i have listened to for 30+ years.couldnt imagine a better setup.these are simply the best.

The lowdown.
Bought this thinking it would fit in my 2001 Ford F-150 Super Crew. I was under the assumption that this was a direct fit but It was not even close. I travel a lot for work (+/-) 800 miles a week, so I needed something that could handle my demand on it.
*Note!*
I'm not a "professional" by any means (~25 or so installs for myself, friends, and family over the years) but with a little brainstorming and test fitting, I was able to make the install work and look clean while doing it. Now for the good stuff!
[General construction and overview] It was packaged beautifully and arrived quickly! After opening the box and inspecting the contents the unit as a whole felt solid with great construction. The screen and 'plastic' feel sturdy and fairly rigid (for plastic anyways). Overall construction is solid. The connections in the back are spread out for easy access and installation of wiring harness' , a/v cables, antenna, etc...
-MAKE SURE THIS IS A DIRECT FIT FOR YOUR VEHICLE!-
[Installation] Like i said, I purchased this thinking it was a direct fit (that's what I get for NOT utilizing the fitment help on the site). This thing isn't small (TWSS) and it took me about an hour to cut and trim the radio support/ heat and AC control support so it could fit. I don't recommend this unless you've had prior experience because you can absolutely ruin your dash if you don't know what you're doing. Soldered and shrink wrapped the connections by matching up the colors with the wiring diagram included with the purchase (Thanks Sonic Electronix!) and it worked first try with no issues at all.
[Display] The display looks crisp and clean with a lot of customization options for motion backgrounds, PICTURE backgrounds (with USB hooked up of course) and standard color backgrounds. I really like the illumination settings and how you can change the solid color of the underglow behind the buttons or even set it on color rotation.
[System] Runs smooth, switches between apps and settings to other screens quickly and seamlessly. I do wish there were a few more in-depth setting options, but for an average everyday user it's plenty.
[Overall Audio] Not going to lie, I saw the 50x4 peak and the 17x4 RMS and thought it wasn't going to be that loud but I was wrong. This thing blends my stock 6x8's beautifully with my subs. Even cranked there's limited to no audible distortion in the mid-range drivers. I have had a slight distortion in the highs when I EQ'd them WAYYY up during my stress testing, but that's to be expected with factory door speakers.
[Sub-out] connected to an Alpine MRP 500.1 Mono block amp powering (2) 12" kickers and they sound great. The built in graphic EQ is actually way more accurate than I imagined. It gives you a few pre-set EQ settings and two available Custom EQ spaces (love this!!!) and the bass 'boost' option is nice and easy to get to in the audio settings menu.
[DVD] Tested a few DVD's out after bypassing a certain wire grounded with a simple toggle switch from the local autoparts store. (You can figure that one out...) DVD's play fine, the resolution isn't the best 800x480 I believe, but it's very watchable and entertaining.
[AUX-IN] I'm running an Xbox-360 and Nintendo 64 (both on a AV switch) into the AUX-IN (Xbox 360 component cable, NOT HDMI!) as kind of a novelty in my vehicle. Remember, this is a 6.1" screen, and it's not HD, so if your soul purpose is for video you're not going to be too pleased. But, for games like Skate or Forza it's a great way to kill time. (and make your friends set-ups look lame). The Nintendo 64 looks great on the display and is perfect for Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98 (chea brah)!
[HD Radio] I don't like HD Radio in general, nor any Radio for that matter, but this does function like it's suppose to. Also displays artist and song information and the lovely "No Data Provided" (I'll address that in the cons) underneath all of it on every station under "composer" (I believe).
[Bluetooth Audio/Calling] The bluetooth audio works well, it does take about 10-30 seconds for the initial connection to my Note 4 sometimes, it's a slight drawback but it's nothing to get all butthurt about. Calls sound crisp and clear, the hands-free microphone was easy to install and mount. The microphone is pretty sensitive from what i've been told during test calls i.e. picks up turn signals and exhaust (sometimes). I haven't had a complaint tho I haven't used this function a whole lot yet.
[iPhone integration] All of my work devices are Apple products (iPad(s) and iPhone). The iPhone had a tough time connecting and it became kind of frustrating so I just stopped trying to use it. It wasn't really important that I could use it, but for the review I wanted to try and use everything possible. I believe this had to do with a bluetooth conflict between all of the devices so I don't really feel one way or the other about the iPhone features.
[Pandora] I'm a Spotify Premium user and I have never really been a fan of Pandora, but using it with the AVH-X3600 was so seamless it actually made me want to subscribe to Pandora (butttttttt I didn't lol). It displays all of the information and album art (the best part!!!!).
[Remote] Honestly, when I opened the box and saw the remote I rolled my eyes thinking I would never use it and now I basically hold the thing in my hand while I drive down the road. It's super convenient and enables you to keep your eyes on the road while adjusting volume or changing songs. I'm really happy with how well it works.
[Cons!] Ah, yes... The cons.
-MOST importantly to me anyways was the fact that I bought it and came back 3 days later to find that the item was discontinued, while I didn't expect Sonic Electronix to go "hey bro, that thing's discontinued here's some other options" it always makes your heart drop a little knowing you just bought something aaaannnnnndddddd now it's old. With that being said, I could have done more research before my purchase and figured this out, but I understand what a phase-out process is and I'll just deal with it.
-The "No Information Provided" is absolutely annoying to me. Call me OCD or whatever, but if there's No Information Provided that's great, just keep it off the screen, I don't need to know this while the Artist and Song are being neatly displayed above it. The cleaner the display the better!!!
-Bluetooth sometimes cuts out for about a nano-second. It's noticeable during songs but it happens rarely and by the time you realized it's cut for that split second it's already back on and playing. (Trust me, it's not THAT annoying, but could still use work)
-Add-on's for this thing are hilariously expensive. Want GPS? Well, for $300 you can purchase a NEW AVIC-U250 or a USED one for $282.82 WHAT A DEAL (sarcasm). The MirrorLink adaptor CD-ML100 WAS $100 and is now discontinued and was nothing but an expensive headache when it was actually available.
All in all I am pleased with my purchase and would definately recommend the AVH-X3600 and Sonic Electronix to anybody looking to upgrade their system and not break the bank!

Amazing value
This 3 way set is very nice. I have the signal cut at 63 hrtz and they still have great low range response. The mid driver is very effective and keeps everything very crisp and bright. The amt tweeter is amazingly detailed you do have to mess with the xover setting and your eq to dial it in. Overall very please and will buy another set or 2. I'm giving them 240 watts rms total with no problems. I will be replacing my re audio xxx 6.5 set with another set of these.

I would 100% recommend this amplifier. I had it replace my first amp which was an old MTX Thunder 4202. I've had the amp now for almost 6 months powering my NVX VCW 15.2 and I have had not one problem with it. Great power for a perfect price.

Precision Power P65C.3
I purchased this set of components about a year ago. After the initial install, in a 96 Dodge Quad Cab Diesel, I soon experienced the "popping" sound many others have written about. I immediately changed the crossover point in my head unit and the Popping went away. I crossed them at 150 Hz. It was like listening to a 4 inch coax after that so needless to say, I was disappointed. It wasnt long after that the 6.5 inch driver failed all together. I am powering this set with PPI P900.4. I replaced them with Dayton Audio 6.5 inch drivers and the difference is amazing! No popping, lower frequency and they have lasted much longer. Several weeks ago, the 3 inch mid failed. This has been the worst component set Ive ever owned and I will not ever purchase another set. Ive contacted PPI but they will not warranty them because they were sold through a 3rd party (Car Stereo Giant who is now out of business and wont honor the warranty) on Ebay. I will replace the 3 inch with another Dayton Audio Product. Sound wuality is much better and they can actually handle the amplifier's abilities.

Pioneer TS-Sw3002S4
I was very hesitant to purchase a sub woofer manufactured by Pioneer but after reading some good reviews of their sub woofers I decided to take a chance. This was my first exposure to shallow mount subs due to limited space under the seats of my friends 370 Sea Ray. I married a pair of theses subs with the Pioneer shallow mount down firing enclosure which is tuned to the subs minimum frequency. Adding some insulation within the enclosure did deepen the sound slightly.
The two subs, wired in parallel so the amp would see a two ohm load, an older Alpine MRP-M350 amp, a Goodwill find that spent the last 3 years in my closet and I consider to be bare minimum power for these speakers, I was shocked at the performance provided in an open air space like the cockpit of a boat. There was a considerable amount of deep end punch, all be it, not as accurate as I typically experience with higher quality subs, they were more than adequate for use in the outside marine environment. Highly recommended if you are on a budget for either a vehicle or outside marine environment.

You cannot find a better 3way set at this price!
Older car audio guys like myself remember a time when PPI was one of THE brands for serious sound. Over time they got bought out and things changed for the worst, but the good news is they changed hands again and the parent company is trying to rebuild the name.
These components sets are a major step towards that goal. Running them passive in my Rx-7 off an oldschool Eclipse 4ch sounds great. Tweet pods on the A-pillar almost on axis, midranges just a few inches below that, and midbass in custom door panels. The AMT tweeters were a bit strong so I'm running the -3db jumper on the passive crossovers. The midrange is clear and accurate with very little coloring. The midbass is great, however my doors are fully deadened+mlv+ccf and I'm sure that is helping keep the majority of the sound in the cabin while killing internal reflections.
I would highly recommend these to someone looking to try a 3way front stage in a well thought out install. I cannot comment on how they would sound as replacements for a factory 3way setup, as I have no experience with that. Now I'm shopping for a second amp and a DSP to go full active up front and really get this set dialed in.
I am not a fan of the grills and gaskets from the kit, they just don't look very clean to me, so I ended up making my own that tied into the car's interior. Another complaint I have is the lack of information in the box for things like the crossover points and slopes of the passive and the T/S parameters for each driver.

PPI comes through again!
These PPI 6-1/2's are worth far beyond their $75 price! I will say these have better sound than the 6-1/2 Alpines I was trying for rear fill. I'm using an Alpine IVA-D106 head unit, MB Quart amps, PPI Power 15" sub, 2 MB Quart 304 12 shallow subs, Alpine 5 1/4 Type R components for front high's, MB Quart 6-1/2 front mid-bass, and had 6-1/2 Alpine Type S components for rear fill. I wasn't happy with the sound of the rear fill so I ordered these and I was thrilled. The sound quality is amazing as PPI always has been known for and probably always will. Now I believe I found the perfect products for my taste in sound. Thanks again Sonic for carrying the best products for the best prices.

Excellent speakers
I've always been a fan of PPI. They have never let me down for sound quality. They may not be able to handle the kinds of power they once did in the early 90's but if you want good clean sound at any volume they are still one of the best. I have 5.1 surround sound set-up in my 95 Ford crew cab. 6x8's in the back and 6.5's in the doors and 2 tweeters in the dash. All PPI currently running off radio power until I decide what amp I want to run. Everyone likes riding in my truck because of the super clean sound.

So, I LOVE these... BUT... Issues with Mercedes E class W212
I love these speakers. I actually use them in my home stereo towers, amped at around 100-200wrms per channel, with a rackmount amplifier. They sound fantastic, if they're properly crossed (I don't recommend running them below 50hz, personally). I have a rack crossover (24dba/octave) separating them and the dual 12" woofers without any issue... And man.... Do they open up around 100wrms (combined - wall draw from the amp is only around 125w). They just sing
I thought I'd love them in my vehicle as well. Well, I was incorrect. Installing in them in a Mercedes E250, W212, they just don't fit... After making custom baffles, there's just no way to make the large crossover fit well with the aluminum cover on... And, after ensuring all 6 cones work outside the vehicle... The mid-woofers (2.5" mids) simply will not work... I've checked for shorts, used rubber baffles etc. The mids work fine with the battery test, even in the car, but they don't move at all when powered by the Xover. I'm assuming the Xover, due to it's MASSIVE size, makes a connection fail.
Running them without the mid-woofer, even at 50% volume, both front channels fail eventually (15-20m - in the -10c winter too, not a heat issue). I have no such issues with Infinity Reference rears. I'm assuming I'm hitting OCP on the amp. Perhaps due to 4ohms, but again, no issue with 4ohm infinities.
This may have something to do with the default crossovers set by the MB amp, but alas, I'm not willing to purchase an optical Canbus decoder > New head unit with RCA output. I was hoping to tap into the current wiring (it's at least 16g) to get at least 3-4dba more for the same input power due to sensitivity and location differences.
I'll eventually be amping the set, but the car is a real PITA to run new cabling into the door... So...
Also, The AMT tweeters did die after being driven at proper gains (lets say, 75wrms each channel) after about 2 years... There is NO support from the company. Similar AMT tweeters are easily to source, however.
YMMV
Still, 5 stars. LOVE the damn things. SO glad to have a spare set, but like... Not for a MB W212 (Any E class from 2014-2018 with stock amplification, IIRC)... I'm not a Benz guy, so again, grain of salt please.

So Far So Good!!!
I blew my Kicker DS 65 speakers and needed something with higher power handling. Found these and they even come with their own cross over networks. The sound is clear, crisp, and loud. These are a step up over my kickers, which had foam surround and only 50 watts rms power. These have 120 watts rms power and can take some abuse and put out good bass. Longevity is still a question but after a couple weeks I'm extremely satisfied with my decision to go with PPI.

very good value
I'm lee from the united kingdom, love buying car audio from sonic, I went with these speakers mainly for good front staging , great looks, good specs ,nice design ,solid built too , the mid and the tweet are mounted in pillar pods and the 6.5 woofer in the door , spaced out with carpeted mdf rings, with sound deadening in the doors running at high pass at 100 hz , takes a while to adjust to the tweeters ,need a fair bit of tweaking to get right , along with the pioneer 8 " pros in the rear the pplp65c3 come alive at 150 w RMS AT 4OHM.definatley recommended for the price ,great sound and build.the spiders and quick release terminals are real nice.very nice sound with the right amp.if your using a diital sound processor then even better to tune.they can take some power.

Right tool for the job
I wanted to beef up the bass in my 2012 Sequoia as the factory 8" sub was quickly overwhelmed for my use. I looked at numerous configurations before stumbling on the Pioneer downfiring shallow mount sub box. The black carpeted unit blended in seamlessly with the cargo area of the Sequoia. I entertained a few different options but ultimately went with the Pioneer 12" shallow mount sub along with some polyester stuffing.
I mated this combo with a Pioneer GM-DX871 amp. With its 300 watts into 4 ohms, it's a great match with this sub. I added 6' of extra speaker wire to give me flexibility in where I stored the amp in the cargo area. I rarely have the third row seats up but the sub box will still fit.
To get the most out of the sub and provide the best connection, my local shop added an Audio Control interface to eliminate the built in bass roll off of the factory head unit.
After 3 weeks with the sub, I am very happy. The amp's adjustment dial is a must have as i find myself adjusting the sub's output level with almost every song and certainly between sources - BT, Sat and USB.
I listen to rock and classical music with a little country mixed in and this sub provides a great foundation.

I have 2 of these behind the back seat of a 2017 Toyota Tundra Crew max! With the right amp and wiring configuration these things slam!! I have 1000 watts pushing these in total! From 20hz to 30hz they are pretty good but in my opinion where they shine is that 40hz to 60hz range!! Gives that punch to the lower sub frequencies!! If you are on a budget these are a no brainer!!

great sub
I was running 1 12" Alpine swr-12d2 in a sealed 1 cu ft down firing box in my 02 Silverado and noticed the box was to small and the sub would hit the floor when the bass hit. As to not ruin my Alpine I replaced it with this Pioneer, first the smaller displacement of the sub made a huge difference but also the way the sub is designed it doesnt hit the floor when the bass hits. Good design, hits the low notes, plenty of punch would recommend to anyone with a lack of space ad small enclosure.

There better than my stock speakers
The rms rating is over rated I can't run nothing but 80 watts rms to them or they don't sound that good. Plus they come with like crossovers and the wires attached are really really skimpy and you have to use there wiring but I guess the price is good but you get what you pay for.

11 years later!!! Owned since 1-2015
running them on a nvx 1000 rms 1000.1 nvx mono block. 2 of these bridged down to 2 ohms. At 14.5 volts, Head unit, dps, and amp producing a clean signal via oscilloscope. Run them at full tilt in a sealed box havent had any issues out of them. I listen to all types of music. I will say they have done me very well. Have had them in 2 different vehicles. The a/b class amp i was running burnt up. (I was stressing the amp) upgraded the amp. And these woofers are still running strong. In a down firing box. Wipe there faces down periodically and wipe them down with some leather, vinyl protectant while cleaning the truck. They produce a clean frequencies response using rew software. Using the dsp i can dial them in better. Having used there previous models in a ported mtx box i will say I couldnt be more happy with these woofers.

Beyond expectations
I have to agree with another reviewer who stated that this speaker does a great job of supplying that Impact "visceral" subsonic sensation that goes beyond just low bass.

Awesome!
Dont let this little size fool you ! This amp is a BEAST ! Best amp I have ever purchased got rid of my optidrive amp for this and im purchasing a second soon to push my second Lanzar dct154d subwoofer ...... A must buy puts out every bit of rms power it states . The only thing I dont like is the terminals are angled down and not straight out . other than that its perfect
