This headset is the best out there this is my 3rd tritton headset , and let me tell you it has the best sound out of all of the headseats i've heard .I like the facrt that you can control volume on the speakers individualy.

Great Solid Headset

Hi, I bought this to use on my ps4 and ps3 and the occasional tv show, and also wanting a new set sinceI have had the standard Sony stereo headset for over two years. They were a good starter set, but the Tritton 5.1+ is a much better headset. They are built very solid, the plastic is smooth and rigid, but it has a flexible head band and the cups pivot to form your head well and comfortably. They stay where they are positioned. I will say they need to be worn for about day to loosen up a bit and to soften the headband cushion. The Mic works well, and is flexible. My friends say they can hear me much more clearly than before. The speakers work well, creating directional sound. They need some volume level adjustments, but once it's set, sounds are clear, and have bass. You can mute sound and chat separately, which I like when just in a party talking. it comes with all the wires you need. It takes four wires to hookup on both consoles, so it can be messy, but it can still setup nice. The box also has buttons to setup volumes, no power button on controller, which is a bummer on a 12ft. Cord. I highly recommend this headset. I have had it for a week and love it.
