Fantastic Enclosure for Sundown SA12v2

I had purchased the Sundown SA12v2 and wanted to get the correct ported enclosure per the mfr specifications. Local shops wanted anywhere between 350-600 to make a box.

Low and behold I came across this GP Audio enclosure that is made to spec for the Sundown SA12v2. It is absolutely fantastic and the sub sounds amazing in it. I have the sundown powered by an Infinity Kappa One K 1000w RMS @ 2ohm amp.

Keep in mind that you do need to a bit of work of your own to get this enclosure to your liking.

Great Box

Awesome enclosure, built extremely well. I love that is bare bones, so it can be customized any way you want it to be. I had my wife epoxy the front of mine and it turned out really well. A tad bit annoying that you have to add a terminal yourself but definitely not a big deal. Overall very satisfied with this enclosure and would and will recommend it.

Great box for my sundown SAV3 12in sub. I didnt want to cut a hole for speaker wires so I just ran it through the port like my old box. No issues at all. Would recommend to anyone with a sundown because those sub baskets are too thick for some other pre made boxes out there. This one will fit

Solid box

Shipping was pretty nice, took an extra day but it still shipped out in 3 days. Let me tell you this box barely fits in a 05 mustang convertible I had to remove the spare tire cover for it to fit but I used this box for a Sundown SA V3 12” and it runs beautifully sounds great, great price good shipping great quality awesome performance

Works great! Cutout makes sub install easy to center the sub

Works great! Makes sundown sub sound great! Only complaint is you have to make the terminal hole yourself so need a drill and run to home depot for a circular hole saw which is an extra $20. You need a terminal too. No biggie though, thick wood so high quality
