great features one small problem

This cap has a great distribution block for two amps built in eliminating the need for separate blocks. The problem I've had is that when you shut down the system the meter times out and you would hope all the lights would shut off.....they go to half power which drains your battery. I took it apart and disconnected them,I didn't want lights anyway, this solved the problem.

Tsunami PP1002TM-CAP Looks sharp!

This is the first cap I have used and its hooked up to a Fosgate T8004 amp and its been real good no problems at all the cap has a digital read out in bright blue numbers and a bright blue band of led lights are cool to look at, works good easy to install real good price at Sonic!! I would buy again if needed a cap. Pretty solid unit.

Great Capacitor

Great price for a 2 farad capacitor!! I love the blue LEDS. Great overall product. Runs great with my 1000 Watt Kenwood Amplifier and 2 12" Kicker woofers. Highly recommended if you want to add constant bass to your system and prevent the headlights from dimming. I give this product 5 stars.

Seems weak

Since I've never run the amp without this capacitor I can't say what the problem is, but the cap is suppose to stop the headlights from dimming when the bass hits, but they definitely dim, allot. I have to say that the cap is not doing it's job. What a shame. I seemed like a nice cap. Only running a 900 watt amp.

*Admin Note: A capacitor is suppose to keep voltage constant on an amplifier to help it provide power steadily to its speakers. In mild cases of dimming lights a capacitor will remedy the problem, but in your case you need another battery and or a high output alternator. If your running 900 watts and the average car produces 60-120 watts of power, your not giving your amp the power it needs. Most cars can support a Max of 400 watts off a stock battery and alternator.*
