Great for all your consoles

I own a PC, ps3, and xbox. Most of my gaming is done on my PC and these headphones work wonders for media, gaming, and skyping. If you happen to have a digital audio connector on your motherboard or sound card plug the dsp system in for a world of difference.

Fits my needs perfectly!!

I bought these headphones because I live in an apartment complex with 2 other roommates and needed a way to be quiet, but still get awesome theater type surround sound for gaming and movies.

The headphones arrived with everything you need. A short optical cable (3ft), USB cable to power the Dolby Digital Processor, and the headphones. If you don't have a lot of knowledge with setting up audio systems then it might take a while longer, but it took me 5 min to plug in and power up. Changed the audio settings on my playstation 3 and put In the latest grand theft auto game.

After tweaking all the audio level and bass settings on both the processor and headphones, I was blown away. I was not expecting this much sound for the price. I have a pair of Bose earbuds and simply put, these turtle beach headphones are way better. The sound processor is incredible. The surround sound is unbelievable especially for the fact that it's only a left and right speaker next to your ear. Listening to cars drive by or people talking in the background or behind you really sounds where it's coming from. The amount of bass is nuts. I have it turned all the way down of the processor and a quarter of the way up on the headphones and it's just perfect.

Popped in the Transformers Bluray and hands down the best quality audio I have heard in a long time. Surround sound isn't as pronounced as the game but it's there and just awesome.

All said and done if you need a quality private surround sound system, look no further. You cannot beat the price.

The only con I can think of is that I don't use the chat function much and wish the mic was detachable. I also think you can get a set of turtle beach phones with this feature, but again for the price, who cares.

The processor feels very light for what I expected, but it does what it says and amazes me the more I use it.

I've not used the DSS yet since i'm not home and my notebook does not have one digital audio output but even without the DSS (i have teste it this way till now) the headphone is great! Dont know much about lots of brands but into Turtle beach i know this DPX21 is great!

Pretty good for my first turtle beach

It is a great headset. It's good looking and it has a very good sound quality, especially with Dolby Surround Sound processor. It feels like you have a 5.1 home theater on top of your head. Every sound you hear comes precisely from the direction it was produced. Only bad thing is the install it's kind of complicated, but that's the only bad thing, and it is that much of a problem. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Superior sound. Great styling. ...very happy with them and would buy Turtle Beach stuff again.
