don't bother
My wife bought the Uniden Home patrol in January 2012. To put it very politely it is a disappointment! It likes to lock out channels
from the favorites list then it tells me that nothing is locked out! Uniden service is extremly poor. Basicly I feal that my wife got ripped off buying this thing. The only reason I gave it a rating of 1 is I couldn't use 0.

Electronic masterpiece
An engineering achievement that gets better with weekly update by way of Sentinial software. Extreme upgade is for tecnical types not vast percentage of users! IT doesn't do everything but gets very close. Shop the internet for reasonable price- Refurbished models as good as brand new!!

I have a Uniden HOME PATROL for a month now.
I found it is the most unique scanner I've ever owned.
I've found the receiver is extremely sensitive,
and programming a "snap", and anyone can enjoy
it! I recommend this highly.
