Crossover Circuit Makes a Difference
I believe these speakers will outperform all others at this price point. The difference is the crossover supplied with the speakers. This device processes the signal from the speaker wire by dividing the frequencies and sending them to the proper component, high to tweeter and low to woofer. Your music will sound better because you'll hear new sounds that your old speakers could never launch into the air. I mounted them in water resistant, armour coated speaker boxes (the stuff they line truck beds with) which I can place anywhere on the boat. The crossover is mounted in the box behind the speaker. Incredible sound compared to what I had prior. I want to listen to my whole music collection again to hear what I've been missing.
