Great Unit

Unit was exactly as advertised; works flawlessly. I did have to take the car in and have the remote recognized by the Viper computer but that is becasue there was not a "learn button" installed initially.

Viper-488V replacement remote

After numerous years, my original remote control finally broke apart. Although the electronics were still functioning after 6 years of operation, the molded plastic housing finally have way to the tape and epoxy that was stitching it together.

The new replacement remote was an exact copy of the original manufactures equipment, the programming to the existing alarm was 5 minutes including reading the instructions.

I would recommend this product if you need a replacement remote for you viper.

used as a replacement remote for my viper compatible alarm system. directions were easy to follow and the remote programming went without a hiccup. product works just as intended. was shipped and delivered promptly at a fair price.

car starter remote

I had a problem setting it up but took it in to a place that installs cd players in cars and they had no problem setting it up, It works good now and I have had no problems with it. It starts my car from a long ways away. I couldn't live without it!

Viper 488V

This item is very hard to program to my vehicle. So I put it back in the box and put it on the shelf. I would not recommend this item for anyone.

Worked perfectly until i dropped it!

Excellent replacement

Original fob lasted about 8 years of heavy use. New fob looks and works just as reliably as the original. Sonic is the only source and they were very helpful and reasonably fast considering the fob is no longer in general production. Good product great compant

Brought 2 of this product due to having and older alarm systems everything works great save me about $700 versus buying a new system.
