my original viper key fob was busted from being dropped, still worked good but case was at the end of its rope. I ordered a replacement case and it was perfect solution. Great price, fast shipping saved a lot $ over the cost of replacing the whole keypad.

Perfect replacement for an old housing on your remote

My old Viper remote control housing was pretty beat up. The swivel on bottom was constantly coming off because the two halves were slowly coming apart. I did not want to spend more money for a new remote so I did some research and I found this replacement.

Replacing the old with the new was easy. Just spray the old one off and snap the two new halves together and that's it! The remote looks brand new and I don't have to worry about my keys falling off again. I would definitely would recommend this product to some one who is looking for an easy fix and wants to save a lot of money.

I purchased this case to replace my original alarm case. I no longer have a faded, taped and scratched up key fob for my alarm. When I received the new case I took the alarm out of the old case and popped it into my shiny new one with no trouble at all. I love it!!

This worked great. Just pop off the old case and snap on the new. I thought I was going to have to buy a new remote just because the key ring part broke. They cost $100 and up. This was only a few bucks and worked great. And it's an exact replacement, not a knock off.

SIMPLE AS PIE...

For the person giving this a bad review, you must not know how to replace a remote cover. This is a replacement cover, not a replacement remote that needs programming. All you need is a tiny small Philips or flat screwdriver to remove the screw above the battery location.

Dont Buy From Sonic!

I recently purchased a refurb Pioneer Navigation Unit, it was clearly used and returned defective then sold to me as refurb, arrived without owners manual or free items. Had unit installed only to find defective, contacted sonic which stated I must pay for shipping back and face a 15% restock fee. For them selling me damaged goods!!! Have asked repeatedly for there legal info, now they ignore my request!!! DON'T BUY FROM SONIC!

Worked and Fit PERFECT!

My cover on my car alarm/remote start remote was damaged and looked old and beat up. I purchased a replaceable cover from sonicelectronix and it fit perfect. It looks like a brand new remote. New remotes cost almost $200, but I only paid about $15 for the replaceable cover and it looks like a brand new remote. It was really easy to put together. Just be sure to buy the correct cover and you'll be pleased with the results! Good buy, Good Seller!!

Direct replacement for original remote case. As long as your circuit card works there is no reason why you would need to buy a new remote...just swap it out.

Product that viper alarm owners need to know about.

Well, local stereo shops did not want to or feel that the time and effort to find a replacement remote case was worth my money and time. Came to this site and found exactly what I was looking for and have had no problems and works great.

This item will not program to the alarm. I don't know what's wrong with it because I programmed other ones from different sellers and they worked.

I purchased this shell to replace the original case for my remote starter/car alarm. The original case developed a crack and this shell is the exact replacement. I had no problems removing the one screw and opening the old device to remove the electronics and put them in the new case. It is an exact replacement.

Viper car starter case

I was so happy to be able to replace the case on my viper car starter. I had priced out other options and everything else was 3 to 6X higher in cost. It was VERY easy to swap out the case. There was nothing wrong with the internal workings-it had just been dropped several times. I was VERY HAPPY with it and I would recommend it to anyone!

This is great if you lost the back battery cover or your plastic screen gets cracked. Much cheaper than getting a whole new alarm and you don't have to reprogram anything.
