solid unit

Unit was installed by dealer-no problems. LED display burns through battery in 1 and half months. only drawback with this model is instruction manual (for programing remote) kind of complicated. maybe just me!

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this system is because the remote sucks. First it uses triple a batteries that goes out like every two weeks

great alarm wish the car lasted longer

Was a great alarm for the two weeks it was on before my Chrysler 300 was totaled when I was hit by a drunk driver. I've always used viper alarms because they are good quality well made alarms. No it doesn't go off if a cat jumps on your car but if there is a problem it will let you know and I've trusted in these alarms for 3 of my vehicles.

Fast shipping. I had the alarm installed by a professional and has kept me save from theft since. My wheels got stolen which is why I purchased this alarm system. However it does not come with a level kit which is made to trigger the alarm if the level of your changes while armed. overall great alarm system for the money

WEAK

THIS ALARM SYSTEM IS WEAK! I SHOOK MY CAR, KICKED AND LIFTED MY RIMS AND TIRES, PULLED ON THE DOORS AND NOTHING HAPPENED!!! SOMEONE COULD EASILY DISARM THIS SYSTEM WITH OUT THE OWNER KNOWING. I'M GOING BACK TO MY K-9 ALARM MORE SENSITIVE, AND PROTECTIVE!

good alarm system

I wish I could says great alarm system. Design is excellent but when using the two way remote there is a delay in its functions. I have installed many other two way systems by Viper and none of them have this delay. Simple system and easy to use.

this product is the best a lot of people have been try to steal my car because i have 22 inch rims chrome of course an this viper alarm protects it well but i also had to get the kill switch

Great alarm

Installed this alarm in a Tacoma. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had to dial in the sensitivity (it was too sensitive) other than that, great product for the value.

Having trouble with the viper responder

The one without the LED readout works great but the one with the LED readout is very temperamental and will warn me when it is in the garage and not even a breeze is one the car. The probe is in my purse and in the middle of the night it begins warning of glass breakage and such. I wake up, go down and there is no sign of any tampering and all doors are on a security alarm and they are not going off so I must assume it is the probe. I stopped using that one and now carry the other one around instead.

Very Nice Product

The viper 350 responder is awesome. I bought it to have it installed in my 2004 ford explorer xlt. It could be alittle louder but that's just my 2 cents. But WELL worth the money, my truck hasn't been broken into yet =)

There are no problems with it at all you will have to let someone install it that knows what they are doing.

viper alarm

I wouldnt recommend this because the list of advertised features was false and all i got was an alarm to open and lock the doors...nothing else. It said i would be able to pop the trunk, turn on and off the dome lights, and the sensativity is garbage. I had sensativity turned all the way to sensative, and some thing could hit my vehicle and it wouldnt chirp. Only time it would chirp is when the impact is very hard.

Viper alarm review

Alarm was easy to install and instructions were OK. Alarm functions great. The only snag was there where no instructions included to show the wiring for the starter kill relay function.

I have wired starters and alarms in the past, so I mimicked a similar alarm and it worked. Someone who has never wired alarms might be left scratching their head.

Great System Great Price

I've had the 350 on my 82 Blazer for about 6 months now. Haven't had any problems has prevented a few break-ins. I bought the Back up battery so if someone cut the battery there will be back up power. I defiantly recommend the system. I do-not recommend you install it if you do not have any mechanical knowledge. Take it somewhere and have them install it. Also do not drive it through 2 foot deep puddles.

good alarm but dont get the two-way

works good but save your money on the two way talking system because it quits working at about 100 ft and 25ft in a parking lot so save your money and buy the normal system but the alarm works great and has many features.

Great security for your ride

System is easy to use with a multitude of expandability options. Personally I've paired this system with a directed 504d, directed 508d and directed door locks for my 98 Tacoma. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase and really couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend this sytem if you're on a budget.
