Super range, great price

I bought this to install for a friend. Nice remotes & pretty standard install (compared to other DEI products). Great range & price. Would recommend anyone looking for a remote start unit.

Great product, easy to use. Lots of nice features. New improvements over older products / units. I would strongly recommend this unit for someone looking for a remote start and keyless entry system.

Not really the way they describe it.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am kinda disappointed. First of all, they say UP TO 1 mile. I understand it is not 1 mile but this think won't work even in 2 blocks radius. That is not such a big of a deal, but the problem is that sometimes you try to start the car, the orange led tells you that it didn't and then if you wanna try again, the remote tells you that you actually just turned off the car. Which means that the remote started the car but it tells you it didn't. Basically sometimes even if you start the car, you won't know. I should have bought one with the screen. At least you see there that it is on or not and for how many minutes. Not with this one.

Quality of unit is good. I've done hundreds of alarms and remote starts in my almost 30 years experience. Not a bad unit. Tad overpriced. Pain in the butt to set all the million features without the bitwriter. Come defaulted in manual transmission mode so be sure flip that to automatic. All in all a good unit but for this money it should be a LCD remote. Didn't really care for the LED's. Ordered cause that's what the customer wanted. He bough two and based on the 1 Mile range which it does not do. Maybe line of sight it will but not aiming it in the parking lot. For this money I wished I got him the autopage.
