Do NOT buy Visonik

I bought this set for my son for Christmas. During installation we noticed the amp was missing the gain control. So amp was dead on arrival. I won't buy anything like this online again unless shipping is included in the warranty.

Decent

The subs themselves are not that bad but the amp that they send with it is a little to small to always push the subs and the amp didn't last that long, maybe 4-5 months.

good subs very week amp

the subs are pretty good once hooked up to a more powerful amp and better wire kit. the amp that comes with this is weak and subs can easily handle a 500 w max. as i have found out these subs can handle good power and go fairly loud when experimenting with as the subs are 4 ohms wired in series or parallel you get 2 or 8 ohms both not best for the amp it come with

The subs last, the amp not so much

This product is worth every penny, though most will not end up paying that here on Sonic. Please do not buy this and expect to use the amp, the amp should be thrown away immediately. Purchase a good quality budget amp with 400+ watts RMS, like the FLI FL900S-F2 and enjoy for years to come. As others have noted I would also pull the subs out of the box and line it with polyfill and rewire with higher gauge speaker wire.

I've had these subs for 3 years with an MB Quart RAB1450 hooked up. Loved it. Just sold these with the FLI amp to a friend so he can enjoy it even more than I did.

Not so good

The amp had a short circuit in it.

My Visonik system is so Loud! This system is crazy! The amplifier pushes the subs like crazy and they sound so good! Really Good!

great value

I bought this sub combo it was very worth 150 dollars. it hits pretty hard and the box is very tough.i would recommend for anyone who is just starting out their system and just wants mild bass.

Well Worth The $100

I had this sytem professionally installed for $45 and it's boomin', I'm sure if you bought a separate amp, the subs would bang harder but the amp supplied is efficient and these 2 10's" bang as hard as some 12's" I've heard. This package is definitely worth the $100.

Friend Gift

i bought this for my friend he didnt want a big bang so this was the way to go. if you are starting out or just want some bass this is the way to go you get everything.

Starter System

I have had them this system for about 7-8 months. Its performed well, took a while to get it to sound like I wanted it to. My only complaint is the amp. It gets really hot over a short time. I bought myself a new amp. Everything else works great.

Sick

My friend just bought this about a month and a half ago and they sound hella nice if your just starting out id recommend this im going to be getting some soon.

subwoofers shake my car!amp not so much.........

I recently received this bass package and it is sweet. It is my first system i put in my car and it literally shakes my doors. The amp came in with the subs and i hooked it up and it did not push the subs like it should so i went and bought a dual 400w amplifier. Once i hooked that amp up it shakes my doors. I would reccomend the subwoofers not the amp. If you are looking to purchase this bass package purchase better amplifier to go with it and use the one they give you as a back up.

Not bad for the $

I purchased this system years ago from P** B*** and still use it to this day in various vehicles, and am going to be reinstalling it soon. I did have issues with the included amp over-heating and blowing fuses, so used my Bazooka EL1500 Mono (500 rms @ 2 ohm when running subs in parallel; 600 peak) to power this system. With a different amp, it makes a large improvement. The originial amp included is a decent amp, but definitely not to the task of powering these subs. I am planning on seeing if this amp still works and using it to power my 6 x9's since it is closer to 400 watts peak then 800. In my preparation, I decided to pull the subs out, and add poly-fil to the box to decrease some of the resonance I have noticed in my prior installation. When I did this, I was absolutely surprised to see the subs wired with what I could figure out on my wire stripper to be 20-22 gauge. So, I replaced this wire with some 12 gauge Rockford Fosgate wire I had. I then proceded to add approximately 2-2 1/2 oz of poly-fil to the back of the box ( due to the interior volume of the box being 1.0 cu. ft. total, 0.50 cu. ft. per side and didn't want to overfill it.), then buttoned up the subs. I have still to add them in my vehicle since it is cold out and have been adding new dash/rear deck speakers and running the amp wiring kit. The wiring kit provided with this does work and I used it originally, but seems a bit "light" for my liking, so now I am using a higher quality kit to wire it this time. Hopefully by Monday I will have this back in to see how the improvements work. In my previous installations I will say for a low cost system they are good. Obviously not JL's, Kicker's, or the like, but good for the money especially with a different amp connected to them. I will update this after I install them back into my vehicle and see if there has been an improvement. Overall, for a budget system and a couple of tweaks, this is still a great starting point for anyone looking to add something to their vehicle.

not a bad setup

Well I bought this because it was cheap. This set of subs and amp are a really good setup for the price you will have buy a new amp for it sense the one it came with blew up on my after about 3-4 months. these subs do produce a good amount of bass for the price. the only thing isnt good about the bundle is that the amp also under powers the subs.

i got this system about a month ago and i hooked it up and it sounds great,the box is small and it sounds good. id recommend buying it if you want a cheap but good system

Good bass on a low budget...

The price of this package made me skeptical, but I needed an amp and subs and I didn't have much money at the time, so I ordered thinking if it lasts 6 months it'll be worth it until I get something better. The subs are really good, the amp..no so much...I mean, it works and all, but it definitely does not give the subs what it needs to get a work out, I'm using the sub to power my front speakers now, and I have a 1000 watt amp for the subs to really kick it into high gear, the subs are now really kicking hard, and the amp is not bad powering the fronts, so I got good use out them, I didn't waste my money there. Overall, I would give the system a 3 as is, just the amp and the subs, good system to have when your broke, then just add a better amp later, and use this amp for the fronts..trust me you'll love the effect!

this is a really good systems for starters. i would recommend getting a bigger amp and get the system installed professionally.

Good Value

I just got this product hooked up to my car today and you can say it is a good value. They do the job if you're looking for subwoofers with a little bump. If you are looking for subs to you know "bump your car" i suggest you get different subs since these ones will not do that. The bottom line is that they are a very good value if you looking for some inexpensive subwoofers.

i bought this package from an autoparts store in my city it works fine pretty good deal for the money considering that you get all the wiring with the kit for under $100

Good quality sound in a VERY tiny package.

The sound that will come from this VERY tiny little package, is not what you would expect. This Amp, sub, enclosure package will require you to purchase an additional Amp kit but the sound will amaze.... For a budget kit. It's not alpine, Memphis, or JL Audio but it's about half the price... Overall I'd said 70% the sound/sound quality at 50% the price... A Fine Value if you are on a budget. Also, if you want Good sound but not get stolen this might be the kit for you..

Good for me

I just bought these and have had them in now for a couple of days. I guess you could call me a begginer but hey these work just fine for me. You can get alot of power out of them and installation isn't that hard. Sound good for me for a great price.

I own the 1000

i Own the 1000 watt ones... THEy hit pretty hard but i do have too say if your gonna add some more money just wait. my review mirror shakes and its loud in my car but i want something you can hear from blocks away.. so im taking my 12s back and getting 1 10 inch kicker.. they say that 1 kicker will hit harder and cleaner then any 12s out their.. but for this price it is a great deal.. Make sure you set it up in mono MODE get more power out of the 400 watt amp

Visonik Amplifier + Amp Kit + 2 10" Subwoofers + Box Super Thump Package!

This is products comes with a good price, includes amp kit, but does not have or include the fuse holder. The amplifier is not very powerful/does not output enough power to support the subwoofers. I would recommend for you to order a stronger amplifier than the one that is offered or just buy the subwoofers by themselves.

The power wires provided are SMALL, I ended up buying a wiring kit/ cap, as well as this kit, as for quality and sound, I couldn't be happier for what I paid, bumps good inside, with little kick outside the car

Awesome subs and amp for the money. Decent sound quality and spl for 130 bucks. You're not going to break windows or anything but this adds a lot of bottom end to any system. I recommend a more powerful amp and a bigger box. Makes a great beginner subwoofer system. Overall, for the money these are totally awesome, just don't get these expecting to win any competitions, rattle items off of shelves, or anything...although my neighbor did call the police on me because of these when I had them...lol

good starter system

this is a good starter system and cheap, the 12's are nice when first hooked up they hit the lows and highs just right over all good cheap system if you want a little bass to your ride

You get what you pay for....

Amp is terrible, there is no doubt about that. However the subs are decent quality and i can't complain hook t5hem up to a 1200w amp and they actually hit relatively hard. The wiring kits is also decent and works well. In general i would recommend this product.

Easy

Easy to install, sounds ok, for the money. all in all it was a fair buy. you get what you pay for with this product, i would recommend to those who have a budget to work with.

Subs

The system works well over all. I am having trouble with the amp. Only the left side inputs work on the amp. The right side will not push the speakers. Overall the subs sound great.

I received this package as a gift for my birthday , and i must say ; it is not the best subs on the market , but they are pretty nice . I currently run them off of the same amp that was provided , however i had to purchase a new wiring kit along with the package. also i have a capacitor installed for the subs as well as an equalizer to enhance the bass . All-In-All i think this is a nice package with a few modifications

Visonik Dual 10

This system is good for beginners but it could be better. Don't get me wrong the subs are awesome, but the amp sucks. You need at least an 800 watt amp min. and amp is not even close. Also the sub box is waaayyy to small. For the best sound quality possible you should get a dual 10" bandpass enclosure. But If you're looking for decent to good slap on a budget, this package rocks.

i hope you guys have better luck than i did the amplifier blew an no i am having the hardest time with manufactures warranty. the subs hit hard but you can barely hear then outside the car if they are in the trunk but the bass sound great inside the car..these are not the loudest subs. and you need a bigger amplifier because this one that they give you is complete garbage..

well i hooked mines up today and i like it everybody on here talkin about it need a bigger amp its not the amp tha box need to be bigger we hooked the amp up to some 12s MTX and the amp handle it nice you have to no what u doing if u hookin it up yourself I LIKE IT

This is a great choice

i honestly found this website after searching on google. all the products looked pretty good from what i could see. i came across these subs and i put them in my car. they work perfect. dont listen to other reviews saying they suck because they dont at all. they arnt the hardest hitting subs but they really do add a lot of thumb to the trunk and sound great once installed. its a great choice for starters.

pretty nice

This combo is pretty nice for the price. I got it for Christmas and it really surprised me. It hits really hard but I think it would sound better with a new amp. Looking forward to receiving my Power Acoustik 800 watt amp.

This package is a great deal to start out with. My only problem was that i couldnt get the subs to sound loud enough on bass. I got a new AMP and the subs work amazing after that. Definately a great deal.

What a great system

This was my first time to ever buy a system. I thought the price for the system was too good to be true. I also thought I was gonna get ripped off. This system really suprised me once i got it installed. I read some of the reviews that said I would have to buy a new amp wire kit but that was not the case when i had it professionally installed.

good 4 the money

My friend bought this Visonik 10" 800W system off me from a different site for much more than listed here on SE. They sound really good in the back of his del sol, and you just can't beat the price! I recommend this product for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but still gets a lot of bang in the trunk...

All I can say is what a waste of money they are crap they dont hit at all y stock sub is beter then this crappy system but watevr im buying JL's soon so these are going in the garbage.

i got them going on the 800 and they do sound good for a starter package, but they cant really perform at high volume though...i would very much recommend getting the 12'' set instead of these, i wish i would have spent the extra 30, but if ure on a tight budget and want something, they are worth the money

the amp is the best thing in the pack

i got my girl this deal and the amp is the best thing about it i see someone wrote it wasnt but you just have to know how to hook it up i had that amp hooked up to my 15"s (kickers) and they banged so subs no (maybe the 12"s) the amp yes

this is a very good package its very affordable and is a good starter package.it might not be an audiobahn package but it does the work for a fraction of the price

Deal

This package is a really good deal if you are just starting out in mobile audio. The 800 watt ten inch subwoofers are a really nice deal for someone who is just lookin for somethin louder than they can sing. However, if you want to have some clean nice sounding subs I would definatly go with a high quality product and an twelve inch subwoofer, because that is an all around performance size.

Good Value, but Has Some Flaws

I bought this item 6 months ago and had it professionally installed. The installer indicated the amp was essentially an expensive paper weight. I suspect he is right, because the system is more tame than I thought it would be.

The speakers are great, and for the price, you can't really beat the kit. Its just enough bump for me, but it could be louder. If you're looking for something high performance, this may not be your best bet.

Ok Bundle

I have this in the back of an 98' convertible mustang, it sounds pretty good for a beginner setup, ive never had any problems with the amp or subs. I recently just bough a BAMF 4000/1D amp which will most likely destroy these subs, but either way I plan on getting two 10" Alpine type R subs from Sonic. They look pretty cool, and now that I have a new amp I will use this Visonik amp to power my mids and highs...good deal.
