Nice, cheap way to put bass in the wifey's car, BUT......

Everything is as cheap as you would expect, but for the price, this would be a decent little system had the amp not overheated and blown. Man this amp runs super hot even in a large open space in the trunk. Subs still sound decent in another install except they "pop" at a rather low SPL.

Visonik V212BS

I love it, it sounds really good and is perfect for me. at this price i consider this the best deal. the only thing is that you have to get a new wiring kit that includes a fuse for your battery connection.

Great Buy

These subs are awesome and I totally recommend them to anyone looking to put some bump in the trunk on a budget. They hit great full range. It hits the lows and the highs like a champ. 10/10

Great subs, just power them carefully

These subs rattle my Mustang perfectly, but just be careful not to juice them too much of they'll distort and quickly bottom out.

This was my first system. It's pretty decent. The subs are good and the amp is good. Amp does get HOT. Never shut off but will burn u after awhile.

Not bad for price

I put these in my Jeep and while the music is turned to medium volume the bass sound clear and deep but when you want to really bump the subs cant handle the power of the amp I am upgrading to kickers!

ok at best

If you are just looking to get a good solid bass sound for your car then this would probably be good for you. but if you're looking to get something that will really thump then dont get these. The box is poor quality as are the subs. The subs only sounded good when i had my deck at +2 out of 16. Any higher than that and the subs would peak and start to make rattling noises. The only decent part of this package is the amp. It hits hard, goes down super low, and supplies more than enough power. But be careful not to let it overheat. Mine shorted out from overheating even though had only been listening to music for 15 minutes. Bottom line, if you want to be able to just hear the bass in youre music and thats it, buy these. If you want to FEEL the bass in youre music, put you're money to use on something else.

Not A Good Subwoofer Set

I would not recommend this product simply because it is not worth the money....I was only looking for a starter kit just to see how much sound I really wanted in my car....Visonik sounds good within my car ONLY with all four windows rolled up but on the outside, you can't really hear anything...I am ready to upgrade to something much bigger and better because I like "REAL" sound in my car. Visonik is so bad that when I tried turning the amp up it would sizzle and when I tried turning the subwoofers up they would fade in and out....however, the style of the box is great because it fits right in my trunk with no issues. Hope that this will help anyone that is looking for the "Perfect Sound" for their car.

Bang for your Buck...Hands down

Don't think twice, if your looking for a system, you want something thats got a flashy price but are thinking," I don't know..for that cheap it really must suck.." Not true at all, the only way you wont ABSOLUTELY LOVE this package is if you have had high performance systems (Fosgate, JL, Kenwood) in the past. One of the smartest and budget friendly choices I've made. THEY KNOCK, had a headache after 20 minutes of first use. Installed PERFECTLY into my 99 honda civic coupe. Believe me when I tell you.. if you looking for something like this and are considering... JUST DO IT YOU'LL BE HAPPY. Hats off to SonicElectronix as well. shipped across country in 4 days.

Nice Price

I did not use these as I bought speakers that would handle the wattage of my amp, and that was all I needed. I sold these instead of returning them, so I have never heard them. The only thing I can say is read the reviews, as I did and knew that I would not use the power wire that comes with this set. It looks like speaker wire. I would buy an Amp wiring kit!

value for money

product is good value for money. good deep baas. not too loud, but loud enough to trigger other cars alarms.

Sounds great for the price, but I suggest getting a different wiring kit because this one is cheap and doesn't even come with a fuse block.

visonik sub package.

I have owned a lot of systems and i recently bought this package and wow. This is amazing. i bridged the subs down to two ohms and i ran a new wiring kit and used ten gauge speaker wire. the sound quality is amazing for the price you pay. These subs POUND. i wouldnt trade them for w3s. Thats how good these are. My uncle has a l7 in his car and how i have these subs ran beats his. i would definitely reccomend these. the price is unbelievable for the quality. Everyone says they would pay good money for these. GOOD BUY. and thanks Sonic Electronix, the shipping was free and very fast. Here within 4 days!!

Sad story

I bought these for my son's car after doing a bunch of research, they were highly recommended and a great value. We had them installed and he loved them, unfortunatly his car was stolen a couple of weeks after purchase. I would buy them again, but only after installing a car alarm because they draw attention to the car.

Visonik V212BS

Not the most expensive brand but it does provide a good clean crisp sound with the proper gauge wire and adjustments. If your on a tight budget and want a fairly good sound, I recommend this product.

Good Buy

I have owned these subs for over a year now, and have used them regularly with out any problems. I originally planed to upgrade these subs assuming they would fail because of how cheap they were in addition with my inexperience installing/using subs, but I could not be more pleased with the performance of these subs.Great starter kit I will purchase again if something were to happen to them in the future.

I used another wiring kit when installing instead of the kit that comes with the subs. The wires just seemed to be small in diameter and I have no idea if this change had any effect on the performance of the subs since i never used the original.

These probably wont rattle the windows of homes as one drives by but will surly rattle the brains of every passenger in ones vehicle.

they're okay

These subs are fantastic for someone looking to hit at a low power setup, once I bridged the amp it always went into protection mode and finally after about a month the amp gave out and fried, so Sonic is sending me a new one and im installing a fan on it also. but I plan to sell the 2 12's and buy one 15 to run off the amp. but I would recommend these for someone that just wants that extra bass, but if you want to really flex, I would stay away.

Overall this was an amazing buy. If you are a first time sub owner like myself, dont be scared by some of these reviews, this package will be plenty loud for you. I've had them for 6 months and unfortunately the amp just crapped out last week. but Sonic Electronix has assured me they will make sure my warranty is upheld and I look forward to being able to bump again!

Subs are a great buy!!!!!!!!

I got this unit and at first it didn't do anything so I trouble shot the whole thing and found out that they didn't even hook the speakers up in the box after I hooked them up I was blown away at what they did I am extremely happy with these subs and would recommend to anyone who is on a tight budget but wants a great sounding sub and amp package.

solid package

I recently got these subs and for the price theyre a great deal. They will definetly give you plenty of bass if youre a first time sub owner like myself. The only problem i have with them is that the amp that is included is waaaay too weak. When i play the radio it sounds like i dont even have subs, but when i play a cd or my ipod it gives some good deep bass but can never seem to get the higher bass. Its only 170 bucks and in my opinion worth every penny.

Awesome, Awesome, and Insanely an AWESOME DEAL

I highly recommend this product to whoever is basically looking for bass, and not just any bass... but the clean bass too! I still cannot believe the price I paid for this setup. I am now honestly a die hard Visonik fan!

Decent beginner system.

The subs are OKAY. I personally don't think the amp holds up to its ratings. It gets VERY hot and it can't have as many TRUE watts as they say it does. the subs distort after a certain volume. and customer service for Visonik sucks. I upgraded EVERYTHING in about 6 moths or so after purchasing this system.

I upgraded to 2 Kicker comp 12's and the Kicker ZX300.1 amplifier. HIGHLY recommend that system. beats twice as hard as these.

An Alright Product

Well I Had The Product for about half a day after installation of the product and well the amp blew so i highly recommend if you get this product get a amp to support it but other then that the subs are really good

I'm a first time sub owner but it's not the first time that I have heard subs. I bought these because after reading the reviews I thought that I would give them a shot. I'm glad that I did, this was a great buy and worth the money.

I was first suspicious about this subwoofer package just looking at those five reviews before me that said this sub is really nice. I hesitated a lot and decided to wait until it's in stock. I just let myself trust those buyers and ordered. When I recieved the package, the exterior box was a bit damaged that the UPS guys must have terribly carried. But the inside seemed to be alright. I let geeksquad guys install the sub. They did a really great job. Then I turned my HU on and hooked it up with my mp3 player. What can I say? It was just wow. I used to hate my car but now I love it. The musics that I used to listen are now all different. Booming is deep and soft but the bass really hits penetrating my body and shakes my hairs. If tight on budget but wanting bass, then go with this sub. You won't regret.

These subs are some really powerful beasts and the amp, what can I say, Wow! In the picture the amp looked small, but don't ever judge Visonik by size! This amp is packing some serious power.

These subs are great they beat hard enough for me but when I'm outside the car I dont hear it at all but overall this is a great package I recommend this to anybody Ilove it just hooked it up..
