Sounds better than it should

Nice package, everything works. A nice economy system that does not sound like an economy system. It has a nice fullness to the bass. Helps out my mids greatly. The included amp works well. Not the prettiest or most technologically advanced, System has to be tuned properly keep the crossover below 125hz. I adjust gains via my headunit.

Don't pass it up for a name brand for more money if you are on a budget, you won't be disappointed.... unless you want mindless thump.

Good for the Price

These are great, but not the greatest for the price. I have these hooked up in my bedroom behind a couch. The amplifier needs to be replaced, both channels did work but now only one channel works so I have one pushing 700 watts. I recommend getting new wire, the RCA's stopped working correctly and the power wire is like 2-3 feet long. Rattles windows and doors in my house. Box is really small. In comparison, put next to my 15's box, it is less than a quarter of the box. But these speakers are just enough to add the extra thump in my room.

holy cow

my buddy bought these from sonic like a month ago for his 1998 monte carlo. when he first told me what he got and how it was a package deal i kinda snickered and said man be original. he asked if i would help him hook them up and i told him yeah but i wanted to make sure they were what he really wanted cause i wasnt going to waste my time hooking them up if they were going to suck and then i would have to rip them back out. he said he wanted them so i hooked them up which surprisingly did not take to long cause all of the wire were there (and on a stock radio none the less) he hooked his ipod up and all i did was sit back in amazement. for the money he hit the jack pot and i was jealous these things hit really hard and hit every low tone that it should. i am still surprised and i have 3 MTX5500 hooked up in my car powered by a kenwood 1800 watt amp and these things are still pretty amazing especially for some one looking to get a system that rattles their block and wakes up the neighbors when you cruise in. these things are the real deal iam very impressed for the money they are worth it trust me.

Amazing

Just put this setup in my girlfriends zr2 blazer and she loves it. I was very amazed on how well this performs, they say you get what you pay for, but in this case I think you get what you pay for and then some, over all very good product.

i bought this for my girlfriend and it bumps pretty good if your low budget and want some subs this package is worth it

Lots of thump for the price!

I ordered this package thinking that I would put this in my 99 Chrysler Sebring as a starter system until I could do better. I was not expecting much from them, and expected even less when I actually got the package in my hands. Small, I mean I was really blown away at how small the speakers were, and the amp looked like a cheap amp you would buy at a "fire sale" at your local stereo shop, so when my friend installed my amp and subs, I was really floored at how well they performed! They sound really good, and hit hard! Better than some 12" speakers that I've heard! Instead of replacing these subs, I'm going to replace my factory speakers all around and buy an extra 4 channel amp for those speakers, and build my stereo system around these 10" subs...I'm impressed. If you want lots of thump and you're on a budget, I would definitely recommend this package for you!

Really Good!!!!

This is a good way to get a lot of bass for a little price... i would recommend this to anyone who is looking to grab some real good bass for a real low price... you get everything all in one for under 150 you cant beat that any where!!!!

awesome deal!

well i just got these and i put them in my acura and man i was suprized and i had them in and i took them over to my friends house to give him a listen and he was amazed...he was like oh this should be kinda cool lol (when he first saw them) and then i turned it up and he was shocked...he has two 12in eclipse and has a Boss BLX5000 and it kills...and he said hes gonna have to get some of these cuz of there awesome highs...im glad i got them

I recently invested in this subwoofer package, thinking that it might not be to bad. well I was partially right, The subs are nice 135 bucks for the subs alone is a great deal, the amp install kit is a piece of junk as well as the amp, the kit was wimpy and my amp went into protection mode shortly after I installed it. now, I have the subs running on a different amp and they sound nice, don't expect any insane SPL, but at mid listening levels it has nice SQ. so my advice to you is don't waste your money, spend a little more and get something nicer, you really do get what you pay for.
