Can't beat the price

Overall this is an okay system. But for the price you will not find a better deal. I recommend this to anyone who is looking a good bump with out the bump to the wallet. The amp is a little small for the two subs. I do plan on buying a bigger amp. But overall great product. Also i was able to install this with ease to my after market stereo.

nice for lowprice

hey just got these in there. ok dont expect to get much because of the amp. but if you want some bass in your trunk that you can feel i say go for it. i have a 2002 ford focus wagon and they raddle my truck a little when the gain and bass boost is set right. later on i put a 4000 watt lanzar amp in it and man this things hit very hard my truck was rattling. but for starter i say this is a nice package

Mediocre

These Subs are OK, they are not the subs to get it you want to be heard when coming down the street/block. I have had these subs installed 24/1/08 and they don't hit as hard as I expected, I know some of these reviews say they are loud and can cause headaches, haha, thats a lie. They do sound pretty good in the inside of the car, its a nice bang in the car, but don't expect to hear it outside the car as much. I would still recommend these subs, but only as a starter because you will want to upgrade later.

Good Subs

these subs are awesome it takes like two days to warm them up but after that they bump like you would want them to. I would suggest getting a more powerful amp to bump them even harder but other than that these are the way to go!

best and cheap, what else?

beautiful, easy to install, not too loud but great sound, if you are looking for a sound system for you, not the whole block, this is the system.

good for the price

These subs won't rattle your windows, but if your looking for a bass inside the car these are perfect. The amp is a piece of crap but I got a 400watt visonic amp from pep boys for about 60.00 and I can't turn the gain up more than a quarter of the way because the subs will start to sound like crap. If you let down the windows you may be heard but won't be heard a block away. I'm about to put them in a bandpass box to maximize the bass and hopefully it will hit harder. If your trying to keep it cheap and dont need a lot of sound(just enough to feel it in your chest a little) this is the perfect starter system.

Great Subs

I purchased these about 3 weeks ago and installed them myself. Ran them at 3/4 power for 2 weeks. Now I have them at full power and they hit nice and hard. I'd defiantly recommend these to anyone who wants a decent system for under $200.

hits 145.8 dbs in a mini van

this hits really hard i owned the model befor this 1 and visonic still making the best cheap woofers around i got this set from here and i won 2nd place here in my home town at a bass comp and even when system for system with some 1 i and i got his system now lol if your looking for big bass for you budget this is the 1 to get and i also have 2 of the 500 watt single 12'' woofer in box with ports and i got 4 12''s in my minivan with 2000 watts hitting bout 148.9dbs its awesome never got a ticket for noise pollution for 160 bucks yeah boy get this 1 youl never be disapointed

good for the price

these are sum decent subs for the price. they hit really hard to be such a small sub in such a small box. i have moved to two 800 watt sony kicker 12s which is way better and powerful sub. i have also got a new amp pushing out all 800 watts of the sub. if u want sumthing cheap this is the way to go. if u want people to hear u around town and make a name for youself get the sony kicker 12s.

100% Worth every penny

I purchased this package thinking it would be a beginner sounding system that would just get me by with some bass. I was completely wrong. This thing pounds when you have it bridged for 350 watts. I could't believe how hard it hit especially with such a small amp. No this won't let you be heard blocks away but for anyone who doesn't need that this is definately more then you'll need.

Do not buy!!!!!!! i bought these and they burned out in a week, they really suck they wont make your car thump or anything. really crapy amp for subs but decent for 6X8s do not buy these they are CHEAP!

Its Decent

Any system wont sound right if not put together right. The Subs are good they hit pretty hard. The Amp is the problem it over heats to fast it has no cooling fan and it is really small. It seems like the amp would do better on 10' Subs. I had to order another amp. But im still happy with it.

Great Subs!

Put these in my jeep wrangler. Got everything hooked up and blasted the stereo. At first I was kinda upset it didn't bump as much as I wanted too. Jeep sat in the yard the last couple of days (didn't have to drive anywhere), until today I took a drive to the grocery store. These things must have a little bit of a break in period b/c they are slamming hard bass now. The way back from the store I couldn't even hear myself think. The whole inside of my jeep was rattling. The amp has easy settings, just 3 knobs and a switch. These subs in the trunk of a car will def. rattle the heck out of yah. Get different speaker wiring though. The wiring that comes with the package in my opinion stinks. It's very weak wiring. When you twist it it just breaks in ur fingers. Def. great subs tho and an awesome enclosure for the money. Bigger amp would def. make em bump even more. BUY THESE!!!

Amazing, Two Thumbs Up

Ok First off this was a birthday present along with a 4 Guage wiring kit. So total cost was about 220 shipped. This product is the best you'll ever get with it's cost. 165 shipped? You better get it now cuz shipping is as much as 50 dollars.

So these are in the back of my truck. It's a mid-size extended cab so they are right behind me. Man they bump. When they are on low settings and MAX gain with my stereo settings on mid levels they bump way too much for me to handle. My head starts to hurt. I barely even have to bump them. Although the only way for it to be heard "around the block" is with it way up. I'll surely become deaf.

I bought these a week ago. They sound pretty good, You might need a powerful amplifier to get full power though.
