Good for entry level

Let's start by saying the price for a low budget range would work perfect for any entry level set up. The amp does not have a correct rating of 1000 watts RMS bridged. Based on the type of fuse it uses, you will only get about 400 watts RMS. Not bad at all and it would be perfect if you pushed it for a single Rockford 12 or Pioneer champion series. I would recommend this to anyone that wants clean ans steady power for bass but not close to competition level. One more thing to add is this can get pretty hot if kept around max volume for about 20 minutes continuous music playing.

Great Amp!!!

This amp is great. I don't have any cons. The pros would be the power and size. It's small enough to fit in a very tight space yet very powerful. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Exactly what I needed

I had two 12" subwoofers sitting in my trunk for close to a year before finally buying this amp and having a friend help me wire everything together. I know virtually nothing about this stuff, but I was able to figure out the wiring for the amp by myself, and it has yet to give me a single problem after 6 months! The auto-shut off feature for when it overheats saved me from more than a couple meltdowns over the summer, but the bass is bumpin, and that's all I care about!

Amp died 2 monthsa later

I would NOT recommend this amp. The first one arrived dead. SonicElectronix was great and replaced it quick and easily. The 2nd one died 2 months later!!! This is a poor quality, and I would never tell anyone to buy this. Instead, go for the Boss PH1500M. Its still an entry level amp, but has more features and can handle a 2nd subwoofer if you ever decide to add another.

On a positive note, SonicElectronix took great care of me. Will definitely buy from them over and over and recommend them to friends and family.

Great for a budget build.

I have this hooked up to 2 MTX Thunderpros (The old black and red from the 90's i think) with a couple of tweeters. Each sub takes 50-250 watts RMS @4ohms. This amp at half volume can really bump these subs! Easily pushes them past their limits (distortion), without clipping. I'm buying a second one for my two spx pro 10 inch subs. I think the subs take up to 300 watts RMS a piece, so this amp should do the trick. Gotta love the dual filters too! Also at a price you can't beat! It does get a little warm though. I haved this setup wired with a PC power supply so I velcroed a computer fan to the amp and it stays cool.
