DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

honestly the only good thing about this sub is that it looks cool, but once you actually hook it up and hear it it sucks, i ordered 2 of these 10 inch ones for my girlfriends car they dont do anything special before these she had these she had 2 mtx subs an they rattled her whole trunk, but the volfenhag wont even vibrate it at all, i read the reviews on here and decided to give them a try but honestly dont waste ur money these things are freakin horrible!!!!

over rated

I have 2 of these and 2 sony xplod xs-L100p5w I ran 350 watt rms to all 4 and the volfenhag first seperated at the voice coil fixed that then 2 months later they started to over heat and distort alot but the xplods are still going strong.

Good sound

I see there’s a lot of stuff talking here. But it’s all in how you hook them up and what your run to them. Now I have a single channel 600 W kicker old-school kicker at that run into them and when I park out front of my house and running I can hear two stories up rattling windows so in my opinion not bad.Now they don’t compare to alpine type R’s or the X’s. Which I have a set of each but they are very comparable from an 800 W 10 inch sub so before you bad talk learn how to hook a system up and know what amp to run them off before you bad talk something.

Not bad

I have one setup right behind the passenger seats in the back. Bumps pretty good. Need to make a bigger box so it sounds a little better but not a bad buy.

wouldnt recomend

if your looking for some thump in your system to impress i would not get these subs.
they might look like there sweet but thats about all. they blow really easily and dont hit like a sub should but hey there also cheap and you get what you pay for.

Sound ok, but need more thump.

I bought 2 of these from a buddy of mine and put a 800 watt 2 channel amp to them, 400 watts max to each. They don't sound bad, actually they sound pretty good, but the need more thump in them. In the trunk of a car you can kind of hear them, but you'll never feel them.

Great subs!

I had two of these in my explorer. These things sounded great! For the price you can't beat them.

Good for about a month....

I bought a couple of these back on 6-1-02, the day after I graduated high school. I put a PPI amp to them and they hit hard for only 180 watts each, even the shop I bought them from couldn't believe they were hitting that hard. Didn't last though... about a month later the epoxy holding the spider to the voice coil/pole piece started breaking off... then the voice coils burned out. Sent them back to Volfenhag and I got two brand new ones, same exact thing happened within the same timeframe.
