On my first setup i had 1200 watts amp and 2 800 watt pioneer.. my lights did not dim at all.... This amp i bought 6 months ago and i really recommend... Cheap capacitor and good quality... it illuminates your trunk blue... its really cool..

Really, these either work or don't. They are like a wire or switch in that regard. This does indeed work, and has improved my bass response and don't have the dimming headlights issue anymore.
I'm pushing 2 Alpine Type E off a Sony 1000 watt amp.Bass does hit harder Car doesn't act like the battery is dying. Quick and easy installation. Did all the prep while installing a new head unit.

Overall not bad

I have a manual chevy s10. When I would be in nuetral the headlights would dim as well as me being in fifth. Figured this would do the trick from the other reviews. It fix the dim in fifth and the lights still dim a little when in neutral (probably need a new batt). Too my surprise, my amp gives more power to my sub and I feel more confident in the protection of my gear as well. I'm very happy with this purchase but if I were to go back I probably would have spent more.

I have had this cap for a few weeks and i love in, i am running a kenwood 1800 watt amp and the cap powers it good with no dim to my lights. i would recommend this cap to anyone

got this for my kenwood excelon sub amp,my volt guage used to hit bottom now with the cap it barely moves sometimes not at all,no more dimmed lights and installation was eazy took me about 15 minutes im running 1800 watts off the cap and the cap does fine

Sweet Cap!

I got this cap for my hiltron 2000.2 amp and it is a good compliment., provides the necessary power while lighting the back blue..looks great and preforms great.
